Compaq presario c700 laptop

I have a compaq presario c700 laptop with Intel Pentium dual core. I just purchased a game called " TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALL ", tried downloading the game but unsuccesfull . What I'am supposed to do .
The software askes for Intelcore duo 2.2 .

Presario c700 downgrade to xp no sound driver available.
The C700 USES THE INTEL GM965 CHIPSET.
PENTIUM DUAL-CORE T2XX IS A MEROM BASED (C2D) CHIP.
MEMORY/WIRELESS CARD/AND GM965 CONTROLLER.
GMA X3100 GRAPHICS ARE INTEGRATED.

go run -sndvol32 check there is enable/disable if not working your hardware problem call log on HP
