OK. Could you please tell us the make and model, and what you have tried so far? Otherwise it is very difficult to help

First of all, have you plugged it into a different AC outlet?
Have you tried using the button on the screen itself as well as the remote control? Have you tried changing batteries in the remote? When you say you can't get it on, do you mean there are no lights at all that turn on when you use the switch, or that there are some lights and or the screen starts glowing, but you get a blank screen?

I locked my tv and dont have a remote how do i unlock it?

In life, simple yet unexpected events take place, such as the loss or an accidental breakage of the television remote. When a television is locked while the remote is missing or broken, it makes matters worse. Locks are placed on televisions for privacy or age-restricted viewers. To prevent a repeat of this event, store an extra remote in the house or business where the television is located. Without the original remote, some alternatives are available to remove the lock.
Difficulty: Moderate Instructions things you'll need:

  • Television manual
    • 1

Read the manual. Televisions are accompanied by manuals when new. Some contain information on operating the television without the remote. Search for the "Lock" or "Privacy" section in the manual. If applicable, follow the given instructions.

    • 2

Reset the television. You can reset and eliminate the lock on some televisions without the remote, using a few tactics. Hold the power button for five seconds. The television will automatically restart. If the lock is still on, unplug the television and remove the battery from the back panel of the television. Wait several hours before reconnecting the plug and reattaching the battery.

    • 3

Purchase a universal remote. If the manual or resetting option does not work for your television, you need a universal remote. You can get one of these in electronics stores or online. The universal remote supports most televisions. The universal remote manual is included in the purchase and will instruct you on installing it into the television. After installation, enter the lock code using the universal remote.

Keep always blinking the green lights indicator ones i plug the power cord. no video, no raster on the screen.

The green lights on a Sharp television indicate a problem. The number of blinks is a code. The television has gone into a coma in order to protect itself. You can force this television on by doing this. Unplug the television. Hold down the vol+ and channel down button on the television and while holding them down still plug the television in. This is a temporary way to view the television but the problem will get worse if not repaired. Should the television power on this way unplug it when you want to turn it off without pressing the power button at all.

Is the tuner built-in ATSC, or NTSC?

Your tv tuner is set to function on both NTSC and ATSC. See below for the reference

NTSC (National Television System Committee) is the analog television broadcasting standard used widely in North America. It is referred to as a 525-line standard, but actually displays only 480 lines. NTSC is to be replaced with new DTV (Digital TV) standards in the coming years.

ATSC (Advanced Television Standards Committee) creates the technical standards for the US digital television system (DTV). These standards are expected to be used in most new televisions, as the US television system shifts from analog to digital.

Sony kp-61V45 will not power on but you can hear static coming through the speakers. The power button will not light up

Hello,

The problem with the television is from the power panel of the television, it is receiving power but not getting it to the main panel of the television so as to power the screen that is why you are having the static sound from the speaker of the television.

Once you can replace the power panel of the television, your television will be in good condition once again. You can locate the power panel, it is the panel the power cable is connected to, so once you open up the back of the television, then trace the power cord to the panel it is connected to.

A replacement will do the job.

Take care

No picture or sound?? status light flashes in four blinking intervals. I was told it could possibly be the lamp it has never been replaced.

The STANDBY light will flash if an issue is detected within the television. This can sometimes be resolved by simply following the steps below to reset the television.
  1. Turn off the television.IMPORTANT: For a projection television that uses an internal lamp, wait 5 minutes after turning off the television to allow the lamp to cool before continuing with the following steps.
  2. Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
  3. Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
  5. Turn on the television.
