I just bought a Kodak EasyShare W820 digital photo frame with wifi capability. When I try to set it up with my wireless network, it finds the SSID, but when I enter the WEP code, it insists that the code is incorrect and it is unable to connect. All firmware is updated. When I shut off the WEP security on my network it works fine, but I'm not running my network that way. Kodak's support is garbage. Any suggestions?

You cannot send pictures directly from the camera. The pictures have to be uploaded to your computer first. Your camera doesnt have a "built in" internet connection. The easy share button is for send pictures to your friends AFTER they are loaded onto your computer.
If you are not able to find your connecting cable.
and i am assuming your need is to transfer the data
to comp. Well what you can do is you can take out the memory card and fix it into the card reader (you will get a card reader vey cheap anywhere.). and connect it to your comp.
Now your card will work as a flash drive and you can transfer data easily then...
Hope this helps you out.. :)
Most files you download say from I tunes are "protected" files. They will not transfer. You have to convert it to an MP3 file. I found a free converter on the web that will convert your protected files to MP3 file then you can download it to your photo frame. i just bought one today and it took me ALL DAY to figure this out. What a PAIN! good luck!
I had some problems with wireless connectivity with the Ex1011. It turned out to be the connection was breaking when I used WPA security. When I went to WEP it worked fine. My suspicion is that the router was changing the Key over time and the frame wasn't following it. So it would work for a while then stop. But also had trouble even seeing it at times. Anyway, worth a shot. You might try turning off security on the router altogether to see if it makes a difference. Good luck.
