My reconnected printers cannot find my computer to connect through my Verizon FIOS router. The router works fine for my laptop. Printers worked fine a day ago, when they were routed through a second, secure router which I have now gotten rid of.

If you can reset all the parameters, however if you know all the info I would suggest that you use something like a Belkin. You need the IP "name" for you, the connection password, and you really need to know what you are doing.
The only ISP that cannot easily be used with another modem is Sky as they deliberately use a different encoding. Yet again another reason NOT to use sky, it is difficult to monitor, and to use other equipment.

I am wondering if a port needs to be enabled.

you can daisy chain ..but you will need an eithernet run from the fios router to the linksys...

There are some wireless card which doesn't support verizon fios.Check out if your Card is supported or not.if not supported ask their Customer service for a USB wireless Card Brand and its specification which with work fine with verizon fios.

It will solve the problem.

First, the phone connection to the fax simply needs to come from a regular phone jack. You will need to have a regular telephone number in order for it to work. As I understand it, FIOS is a fiber network, which means everything is comming to you via the internet. Faxing does not work over internet telephony
On to your printer.
If you had connected the printer through ethernet before, the IP your computer thinks the printer is on is most likely no longer valid. You will need to either reinstall your printer (easiest solution - recommended), or re-connect to it manually (requires much greater skill and knowledge).
I cannot assist you with re-connecting it manually, so your best bet is to simply re-install the printer.

If both computers are connected to the router. Try turning off the firewall on both computers first. normally its firewalls blocking file and printer sharing that block the connection.

Is your laptop running Vista and the desktops running Windows XP or they all running the same software??? Also your problem is the fios router they come set up to be on a automatic channel search so there always searching for the best channel and you probably live in a brick house....Go to the settings for the router you can get to them easy with the software they downloaded to your computer its the fios help icon on your desktop and you can change the routers channel go to 7 or 11... Your IP address for you linksys router needs to be changed.  More than likely there using the same IP address such as 192.168.0.1.
You have to convert your linksys router to a switch and change the IP address range it uses to on that doesn't conflict with the Verizon router.
10.150.1.1 should work.

Do one thing right clik on my computer and choose manage option after that services in that service
in that wireless zero configuretion will start after then go for the right clik on my network place in that propertities
wireless network icon in that right clik and properties .tcp/ip protocol clik and properties
give the obtain automatically.

Verizon needs to apply a firmware update for the Atheros wireless adapter in your notebook. I work for Acer and I end up having to tell people this all day long. If you take this to a wireless router that is not from verizon you will have no problems with your connection. Maybe if enough Fios customers complain they will provide a firmware update for this.
