Hotpoint Aquarius WT540 washing machine. will not fill with water

Hotpoint Aquarius WT540 washing machine. Machine starts normally but then cuts off the water supply stopping the drum from filling so the wash does not continue. Water supply and pressure is fine, supply pipe filter is clear, pump filter is clear, detergent tray is clean, have tried different weight of load same problem. have tried turning off and unpluging to reset, still the same problem. Anyone got any ideas?

    whirlpool azb7570 tumble dryer showing error code f04 after power cut.clean filter / water container / clean condenser lights all flashing.Have cleaned & emptied all. Have unplugged machine & left for 2 hours before plugging into power supply but still same. Any ideas?

Sounds like a timer switch malfunction.

    its something you need to call a repairmen out to do, its not super expensive but it needs to be done

Hotpoint WT540 1400 spin Washing Machine stuck on cycle

Could be a sticking water level switch, which controls the water level, or a blockage in the hose to the switch, or a trapped or split hose to the switch. the hose in question is about 6mm in diam,and goes from the sump hose to the pressure switch,if u remove the hose from the preesure switch chamber, check for a blockage there, and blow down the hose to see if it is clear, u should hear the switch click if it is clear, if no click and hose is clear, then I wud say the switch is faulty.

On/off button and mini load LED's flashing ON Hotpoint WT540

Make sure there is no water left in m/c, lay hose down to draln completely, try spin again, if still no go, remove motor and check brushes.
