Adsl modem not working

Try a reset.

Turn the device on.

Hold down the Power and WPS keys simultaneously for 13 seconds.

Wait for all LED indicators to flash blue 4 times.

This indicates the device has been reset to factory mode.

Call your internet provider, and ask for your User Id and password. Probably you will need extra help to setup your router, but Im confident your internet provider will help you.

If you don't reset the modem after connecting the router, the modem is still trying to send data to the MAC address of your PCs network card.
You need to disconnect power from everything, then power up the router first.
Once the LEDs on the router settle down, power up the modem.
Once the modem's LEDs have settled down, power up the computer.
You should now be able to access the internet through the router.

The only time this won't resolve the issue is if the PPPoE negotiation is being done by the PC and not programmed into the modem itself.
This is almost unheard of with modern DSL and ADSL modems today, but if that is the issue, you will need to contact your ISP for the information you will need to program the router to do the PPPoE login through the modem and reconfigure the computer to not do the PPPoE authentication any more.

led 2 to 9, gee it has 8 LED status lamps and not told you which one flashes nor what all do. sure #2 is on power sure.
the SBV is not a router at all so forgot to tell router
or is just 1 PC plugged into ethernet ports> yes/no? we can not see what you have or connected.

well kinks led is data up or down. any data moving up or down blicks this light so that is good blinking never bad.
not told at all , what PC is this.
nor OS
nor if PC using wifi or wired Etherenet. the later is best for testing
LED #5 ONLINE is what matters here first.
LED #5 must glow or call the IPS to get that working
if LED #5 does glow. use ethernet wired to SB
Led 7 and 8 is telephone VOIP so not important now.

if at PC you ping 1.1.1.1 this works internet is good but DNS fails
if you ping same and it fails internet is dead but led #5 MUST GLOW.
The pc also shows connected in the task bard for SURE using ethernet
if all that passes, we then fix bad love/hate WIFI
ask how.

maybe there is no internet connection coming on your modem...ask your internet provider if your connection is disconnected..if its not..maybe your modem is not working properly..replacing it will help..

check with youe telecommunication company

TYPE-I Modem Configuration - Huawei SmartAX MT880 Modem / SmartAx MT882 ADSL Modem Configuration

SmartAx MT880 ADSL Modem has One ethernet Port.
SmartAx MT882 ADSL Modem has One ethernet Port and one USB Port.

Set your computer IP address as 192.168.1.2
( If you are using USB port, install USB driver first)

Open Internet Explorer in the Address bar type the URL http://192.168.1.1

You will be propted for Username and Password.

Username: admin

Password: admin


Click on Home


Click on WAN setting


Your WAN Setting should be as follows:

PVC No.: PVC0

Wan type: PPP

Connection Type : PPPoE

VPI / VCI : 0/35

Default Route : Enabled

Username: yourusername@dataone

Password: yourpassword

Use DNS : Enabled

Click on Apply.


You will be asked to save and reboot.

Select Yes


Once your modem is rebooted , the summary page will be displayed .


The "Green" status of PVC0 status indicated that you are now connected. (in Summary page)

SmartAx MT882 ADSL Modem ADSL LED will turn 'Orange' from 'green' when succesfully connected

if your not able to connect then id try rebooting it all start with the modem then the router and your pc see if that helps and if nothing works it very well could be the modem

when the adsl is not blinking that means your phone line is having problem plz ask your phone line provider to check the line.

How can i download usb driver form ADSL Modem c2110 i want to down load the siemens c2110 usb modem driver.Please help me.
