SOURCE: When machine is off it still has water coming out

sounds like the water soleniod has failed, or at least has crud stuck in it... I would vote for is failing because they usually have a filter just before them to keep the junk out. Not the hardest thing to replace, but does require a few basic tools and basic mechanical skills. (remove back, remove hose clamps and hoses, etc)

If you want to do it yourself i can give more detailed instructions.

Peace,

KitchenAid sm8525121 top load washer. Clorox dispenser will not empty into tub

In such cases the water jet which forces the cleaner into the machine might be clogged. Another rare possibility is the dispenser mouth be constricted and only water and little cleaner goes out and rest remains there only.

Why my whirpool front load washer throw all the water from the detergent, softener & clorox dispenser?

I would check for an obstruction in the dispenser or the line leading into the washer from the dispenser. Possibly undissolved detergent or fabric softener buildup.

I have a new GEAEM08FM 8,000 BTU ac in my window. (around 7/2010). There has been a mildew smell in my room, and when i looked inside the air conditioner (from the vent at the top), i can see the pipes...

If it was me I would mix a strong Clorox/water solution and spray everything down leaving the Clorox water in the tray...this will kill and fungi/mold and make it smell good...

ALGEA AND WATER HAVE BUILT UP INSIDE AIR CONDITIONER - HOW TO GET OF IT

Hi,
Spray everything down with a clorox and water solution in a spray bottle. Mix 1 part clorox to 10 parts water. Then place a few ounces os clorox in the water in the drain pan. Many window a/c units are leaving water in the pan and using it to help cool the condenser coil now. Not really a great idea in my opinion.

Need to clean part that lets water dispense

If you're talking about the water line at the dispenser, you can disconnect the line where it goes into the freezer door at the bottom and force a clorox and water solution through it with a turkey baster etc. Flush it out good with fresh water.

Sewer smelling towels!!! Towels are the worst, other clothes are not great, but not as bad. For the past year I have endured this horrible smell. I've just had it!!! I have done the clorox washings many...

Put a cup of powdered dishwashing detergent in the barrel ie. Sunlight or Palmolive. Place 1 cup of bleach in the soap dispenser. Run on a quick cycle with HOT/HOT and run complete cycle. This does help and don't forget to clean the filter on the lower part of the unit.

MAY8700AWW LEAKING WATER UNDER DOOR AND S/B/F DISPENSER

Service came out to check out my washer. He sent it thru the wash cycle and it started leaking. He removed the top and checked the hose that leads from dispenser to tub. What he found was the round piece of paper from the clorox top which had dropped into the dispenser apparently when I poured clorox into the dispenser. Which was causing the dispenser to backwash underneath and flow down like it was coming from underneath the door. Thank God I have an extended warranty. I advise everyone who has the newer digital models to purchase an extended warranty. It is worth it....the repair can be costly from what I understand.

Internal Smell

I had the same problem especially in the summer time when the heat and humidity are high. ( I live in the south) The solution I have come up with is to keep the space between the wide rubber piece and the hard plastic piece that encircle the opening cleaned. It can be a pain to do because I am always afraid I am going to damage the rubber piece. I use a 1 - 12 solution of clorox and water and a soft cloth and a soft toothbrush for the ridged places. I also leave the detergent dispenser tray open when I am not using the washer so it can dry out. This has really helped me.
There is also a product that I have seen that is made just for this purpose. I saw it at Home Depot one day. It is probably available in the detergent aisle at other stores too, I just have not looked for it. I refuse to buy a product that is made to correct a defect in design. My clorox and water treatment works just fine for me and is much less expensive.
