CD-4050 Scanner The scanner works great. When I scan multiple pages, I see the scan counter and it shows the total amount of pages scanned. My problem is, when I go to view the scanned document on my PC, there is only one document, by the disk space, I know it coppied them, but I can only view the first document. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Thanks for the help.

First scan a single page and note the file size. Then scan two pages and check if the file size is changed. If the file size is changed, then you have problem with your viewing software. If the file size is same, then check your setting in the scaniing software.

Scanner stops in middle of job (Xerox Documate 4790)

Is it happening on multiple computers or just one?
Is the software installed on the server?
Get the drivers Directly from Xerox's website. Uninstall completely including a registry search for Xerox & one touch.
That doesn't work try to install everything on one PC and try it there.

How do i scan multiple pages and sav it to my documents. It seems like i am only able to scan and save one page at a time

Hi

If you have a Top feeder on the scanner, you can scan mutiple pages. Change the setting of the scanned file to pdf file (not JPEG) by going to the scanner icon and change the type of file you want to scan. Scan it as PDF FILE and then it will scan multiple pages. Regards

How do I add multiple pages to one scanned doucment?

Open your Adobe Acrobat (e.g., 9.0 Pro), load your pages into the document feeder (fewer than 30 at a time), then ask Adobe Acrobat to create PDF from scanner (File/Create PDF/From Scanner). Canon MP530 as the scanner and click OK. Works like a charm!

Scanner is not reading multiple pages...

Check your scanning software settings. If you are getting only one file output, then you must have chosen 'multipage' option.

Don't know how to set scanner for multiple page scan into single pdf file

The supplied Canon software is horrible, but it can be done!

Launch ScanGearStarter, choose advanced tab and click preferences button, then select scan tab.
Untick box "Automatically quit ScanGear....." then click ok.
(This box being ticked totally prevents multipage single file scanning).

Now choose simple mode tab, select the document type, dpi and document size.
Now click the green "Multi Scan" button, place the document on the scanner glas and press next in the new window.

The page will be scanned and the ScanGear window will return, just click "Multi Scan" again and place next document, press next. Keep repeating until all pages are scanned, then close the ScanGear window.

This will bring up a third window showing thumbnails of each page, any of these pages can be deselected if required.
The other important step is to choose from the pull down list Saved as Type: "MultiPagePDF".

Choose the location for saving the file and click save.
Hallelujah! .......stupid software.

Canon Dr-9080C scanner

to check the page count install the driver and setup the scanner as a "scanner device" on your computer. Once you have done that , go to the "control panel" than "scanners and printers". Right-click on the device that says "Cannon DR-9080C" and select "properties". The device information will appear, than select the "counter" tab on the information box; the scan count will be listed.
