SOURCE: Good Day I have got a

Part # 827794 Chain
They sure do look like bicycle chains, but without measuring the links with a micrometer and comparing them with a bicycle chain, i wouldn't be comfortable installing one you made based off of eyeballing it alone. You may know this already, but be sure to remove both sprockets the certain chain rides on, and assembling the 3 pieces as one assembly back on the shafts, its much easier then loosening the shafts from the main unit.

Why is my Ryobi AP13 thicknesser running so loud

I hate to say this, but Ryobi makes cheap power tools for guys who used them once in a blue moon. Sounds like you are so what of a Pro. don't waste your time fixing a cheap saw. Go get a real power saw that will cut good and last for years

What is a process for doing tight or loose chain

Hey Bud,

If you want to test if your chain is too loose or too tight there are some simple methods of doing. Grab the chain just before the sprocket and give it a pull, there should be a bit of give but nothing crazy. You can also place two fingers underneath the chain near the guide. You should be able to fit two fingers underneath without any problem (Palm should be vertical) For details check out this guide about caring for your chain Motorcycle Chain Lube the Ultimate Guide to Taking Care of Your Chain...

How to adjust the tention on the roller catch

  • Locate the guide bar retaining nuts on the side of the motor that holds the bar. Use the guide bar retaining nut wrench to loosen the two bolts mounting the bar to the motor.

  • 2

Locate the chain tensioning screw on the front of the motor housing near the guide bar. Turn the screw clockwise to increase tension and counterclockwise to release tension. Tighten the chain until the chain moves freely along the length of the guide bar, but is tight on the curves of the bar

    Chain keeps coming off

Open the chain guard.Once there look for a bolt that hold the chain plate. The chain plate has a large groove and the bolt.djust the chain by plull to the front until the chain is tight, but not too much, just test by hand if is move freely but tight.Reverse the procedure.

How do you replace a chain on a Husqvarna 235e

Take out the chain guard.Once there you will look at a bolt holding the chain plate.Untight the bolt and adjust the cahin, but not too tight just test by hand if it moves freely but tight.Usually a gap of about 1/4 or less is enough, tight and guard back.

Sprocket won't turn with bar and chain in place. Turns freely with bar off.

It's possible that you have the anti-kick brake on or you have the chain adjusted too tight. The guard in front of the top handle should be all the way back to release the brahe. Hope this helps you

How to tighten a loose chain

To tighten a loose chain you need to pull the cotter key pin from the rear axle then loosen but do not remove the nut. It just has to be loose enough to slide in the swingarm. At this point there are tension adjusters on the ends of the swing arm you tighten them to take the slack out of the chain. NOT TO TIGHT! You should have 1 inch of play in the chain this is up down play not front to back. I push the chain up the highest it can go and measure how far it falls. NOTE: TURN THE TENSION ADJUSTERS THE SAME AMOUNT THE SAME DIRECTION IF THE AXLE IS TWISTED YOU WILL THROW THE CHAIN. This can make for a bad six months!
