does the water pour out when you put the drain hose close to the ground if it does then make sure your pump isnt blocked if it isnt then youll need to replace the pump most pumps have 3 little fins in them if you can stop those fins with a screw driver when pump is going then it deffinatley needs replacing as you cannot fix them sorry for the bad news m8

SOURCE: Problem with Hotpoint WD64 Washer Dryer

Effectively it looks like a water heating problem.

When the water cannot be heated sufficiently, the machine waits until water reaches desired temperature.
So that the program takes longer to complete.

Heating problems can be caused by:

Faulty heating element
Faulty heating element solenoid.
Faulty thermic switch (in this case the water will get hotter than normal)

The heating element and the solenoid can be tested for continuity using a multimeter.

If the machine is slow to fill check also that the inlet valve is fine and not obstructed.

SOURCE: whirlpool duet sport wfw8300sw00 f-21 error

Unplug the machine. Unscrew the 3 screws under the front edge of the washer. The service technician manual is attached to the panel that slides down and off. Find F21 code. See suggested procedures. Note: My drain pump filter had a baby wash cloth in it along with some change that was disrupting the flow. It is exceptionally easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. Just line up installation notches when reinstalling. Whirlpool should have mentioned this filter in the User & Care Guide, but I could not find it anywhere in there.

SOURCE: Dishwasher stuck on "drain"

This is a on going problem with asko and they keep jerking everyone around with this defect. I had a repair person come over and used a turkey baster with a 7" rubber hose attached to the end of the baster. He took off the kick plate and inserted the hose end in the overflow tray and pull about of 12 onces of water from the tray. He is a asko repair facility and says it is a comon problem and has made the repair solution on his own as it is easier then taking the hole dishwaser out and tip it on the side just to drain the water. This has been on going for 3 years and each time i called asko it was like i was the only person having such a problem. I now do this every 3 months and the problem is on going. What a piece of junk. Purchased at Marcellas appliances in Schenectady,NY. They also know how to avoid the problem in fact there repair person left out most of the screws so the next time it would take less time to drain the water. DDDDDont buy ASKO. Michael Foote

The conditioner is not being pumped through as normal on wash cycle? Is this a blockage that can be fixed easily? Cheers Steve.

Do the cheap things first. Remove the top and check the supply hoses for blockages or kinks. Get a length of springy plastic to thread down the hose to see if there is dried residue. When the top is off try a cycle that uses conditioner and see if it tries to empty the tray.

How do i remove the drum from a Hotpoint Aquarius WML 560 P

Hi,
There is not much you can do to remove the drum of your WML 560 P Washing Machine...you can remove the bearings and door but you can't remove the drum personally. You'll have to take it in for service but here is a manual for you which you can read through to see if there is anything about removing the drum. Click on the link below to be directed to your Hotpoint Aquarius WML 560 P User Manual homepage...

Door will not open have wash cycle

Switch off, put in spin/drain cycle and switch back on; check water is fully drained and then check filter. If not all drained, lower hose to ground level and drain to a bowl.

Turn off the power and pull out the machine to get to the rear. Pull out the hose you see going into the wall pipe, lay at floor level or plastic bag to drain out remaining water in machine. Remove the panel at the bottom (2 screws) where the discharge hose comes out. You should see a black concertina type tube coming from below the drum attached by a jubilee clip. The filter is inside. Loosen the clip and pull away the tube, take out the filter and clean it. When you replace it don't forget to put the ball float back in (exactly as you found it) and check it’s well fixed by running a spin cycle before sealing up. Caution, the exit drain hose shd be fitted at the exact location where you found it, abt three feet up from ground level.

Pl rate me nice for the free help, thnks.

Spin not working properly, sounds ok but clothes are too wet once complete and the independent spin cycle leaves clothes soaking!!!

Sounds like a small blockage in the outlet pipes, possibly just in the filter but check all outlet pipes. Just done one the other day and it was a clothes button that had passed out of the machine through the pump to the outlet pipe but had turned sideways inside the outlet pipe.

WD640 aquarius super silent won't spin or drain

Not draining

Check the inlet hose to the pump from the drum, make sure it is not blocked, remove outlet hose and run water through it.
If these are clear and the filter is clear, you need to establish that the pump itself is o/k.
Select drain and see if you can hear the pump running, if you can't, then you need to check that is getting a mains feed to it.
If feed is there, then the pump is faulty. Replace
If no feed ,then you need to look further.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
