If you did not change it then it is listed on a label that is stuck to the bottom or the back of the modem.

Not much offered at Compaq's driver site for XP. For the modem driver, try the link below, it says it's for Vista, but it should work. If it doesn't then you will need the make and model of the modem, then go to the manufacturer's site or driverguide.com for the drivers, and the same for the wireless, make and model, manufacturer's site or driver guide. To be honest with you, modems are just about obsolete, unless you have dial up at home, you'll probably never use it.

The 8200 by itself does not have networking capability.
This means that you cannot connect it directly to your router and give it an IP address, so others can connect to it.
The good thing is, that this printer is listed on the list for compatibility for upgrade with the wireless network kit (see here). The bad thing is - this kit costs about 70$ (see here).
A solution which does not cost anything, is to share the printer from
your computer with the other computers. The downside is that the
machine to which the printer is connected has to be running in order to
let the others print.

If you have tried the default passwords (blank, admin or sysAdmin) and they don't work, you will need to reset it back to factory settings. You can do this by finding a hole at the back of the unit and pressing the hidden switch there for a few seconds. After that it should be back to its original configuration. You will obviously have lost any changes you made to it since you took it out of the box.
