SOURCE: hotpoint condenser tumble dryer aquarius cdt00- wont dry

I am not familiar with this particular unit, but I have a condensing dryer (Malber) which pumps out the water by itself. I am guessing that your unit requires you to empty a bin manually. Even if the bin is empty, I think the unit thinks it needs to be emptied and that is why the dryer will not work to give you hot air. If you do have such a bin, it might have a weight switch which the unit uses to detect if the bin needs emptying. See if the weight switch is working. The same weight switch idea is used on dehumidifiers.

SOURCE: where is the filter on

If you remove the lower rear panel, you will see a large black hose fastened to the bottom of the tub, remove hose from tub and you will find filter in there..
Be careful as there will be water in there.

SOURCE: I don't have any heat from my hotpoint aquarius ctd40G tumble dry

Remove the rear cover and you will see the element and stats, you will need a meter to test them.
Pull one wire off each thermostat and with a meter that beeps, test across each thermostat, if they are o/k, then the meter will beep,
if no beep then no good.
Replace all heater stats, even if only one has gone
If the stats are o/k then you will have to check the heater, this is more involved as it entails removing the top cover and left side panel looking at the dryer from the rear.
Unplug the heater lead, and again test with meter,if element o/k, then prob is timer or main pcb could be faulty, it really does get quite involved.
There is also a thermistor at the front of the dryer, that is part of the heating circuit.

Thnks.

SOURCE: Condenser on Hotpoint Aquarius dryer not collecting water

I think that I have already suggested some possible reasons for the prob you are experiencing with your dryer, but I don't think I have mentioned the fact that the pump could be fauty, you should be able to hear it running, just a thought , you never know.

SOURCE: HOTPOINT AQUARIUS CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER CTD40

There are three water reservoirs - one at the bottom behind the condenser, a second at the back bottom of the machine and then a third at the top which is the one you would normally pull out to empty.

There is a hole at the bottom of the filter in the first reservoir (at the back of the condenser) which leads to the second reservoir at the back. If the hole gets clogged up with lint/muck then the reservoir at the back does not fill up.

So to solve this, unplug the machine, take out the condenser (front left bottom of the machine) reach through to the back and mop up the spare water with a towel and check that the hole to the back reservoir - you can feel this it is towards the right side at the back of the machine is clear from muck.

Once you have cleared it, water will flow to the second reservoir and then (once you switch on the machine) up to the main removeable reservoir at the top.

Hopefully this helps. GB

Hotpoint Aquarius Extra washer dryer WD64 will not drain water. Spin works ok.

Was it working before? You may have a blocked outlet hose. Try taking it off under the sink to look for a blockage. You could also try getting some water in from that end with another hose to see if it comes out into the machine. If it is not a blocked hose, then the pump may be faulty.

Dryer does not work drum rotates but does not dry on hotpoint aquarius washer dryer model wd64. all other functions operate ok

Probably open circuit heater element, or thermostat/s
Remove top cover, and you will see the heater manifold on the top of the drum.
It is a long aluminium box.
The element and stats are located here..
You will need a meter to test the appropiate components for continuity.

Hotpoint aquarius condenser dryer TDC30

I would dry it just to be on the safe side, even though it doesn't say so. It can't hurt. The front t'stat should be under the top at or near the drum.

Dryer runs no water enters condenser draw, empty water light on.

Remove the filter draw on the bottom left, and wash out under running water to flush out all fluff.
Reach inside opening and clean as much fluff anf gunge as you can from the cavity.
Get a plastic bag tie, reach and feel for a small at the rear of the compartment, and poke hole clear..
If this does not solve the prob, then it is probably a sticking or faulty float valve., or switch.
This involves a complete strip down to access these components.

Hot point wd64 dryer

U need to check the heater element and/or the stats on the top of the heater box located on the top of the drum for continuity, with a meter.
Disconnect from the supply, and remove wires from components to check for continuity.
Hope this helps u.

Tumble dryer not heating/drying

To check the element and stats, you need to remove the rear panel of the dryer, there you will see the stats and the element, you need to check for contin uity with a meter set on the ohms range, do it with the stats disconnected, or you will get a false reading.. if one of the stats has gone, then you must replace both of them.
Check thst all filters are clean ,air intake and outlet clear, and wash the lower fluff filter out under a running water supply.
If still no joy ,then could be a control unit prob..
