Jenn air side by side, refrigerator side is freezing items at 2 on a 1 to 7 scale, how to I fix it?

Before you go crazy just defrost the unit over night and then turn it back on. Possible e that the evaporator froze up due to the open door..Let it stabilize for at least a day and then check to see if all is copacetic.

From your description I'll gather you're not getting ice cubes either and need to replace the ice maker

Sounds like the thermostat is caput.

i have the same problem i clean the coils and work for two weeks and now is freezing need solution thanks

If the freezer is staying cold it sounds like a defrost system problem. A bad timer, heater or thermostat can cause frost to build up on the coils and block air flow to the refrig side. Check out ACMEHowTo.com for troubleshooting the defroster problem

check the damper which provides air flow to the fresh food side

Your thermostat is faulty, pure and simple.
If the thermostat fails to do it's job, your compressor continues to run thus freezing your produce.
