If it sits for awhile and then starts up then I would say you have an overheating issue. That is where I would start to trouble shoot. Could be a bad heat sensor...there are usually a couple of them.

Testimonial: "it want start at all"

Ok...then I would go to the electrical system. Pull your battery out and fully recharge it. Then take it and have it tested at an auto parts store to verify it is good. If it tests good then I would think it is your alternator not charging your battery.

Did you try jump starting it? That would tell a lot as well.

My mower will die everytime i engage the blades to mow

Check to see if one of your deck spindles isn't seized. Disengage the blades and turn each blade to see if its free. Sounds like either a spindle is seized or your electric clutch on the motor has a problem.

My lawnmower quit mowing.

It depends on whether its a lever or pushbutton engage model? it may be a broken belt or a simple wire connection come loose. If you want to stay friends tell them mowers are repairable/replaceable but friends arent!

Craftsman 19.5 riding mower starts runs quits no power

When you let it sit did you remove all the fuel or add a additive? If you did not then I would recommend that you remove all the fuel and add brand new fuel to your system. Gasoline only last for about 3 to 4 months before it will start to go bad and this sounds like your problem
