Bought my tissot watch on 23 rd May. As I am new so I am really confused because the date is changing at 12 :30 am instead of 12 am. The model is T033210 A. Is it faulty ?

I see this is a Tissot 1853 watch. As you bought it very recently, I would expect a good quality watch like yours to change date soon after midnight. However, it's probably not faulty. There are many watches that don't show the correct date until as late as about 2 am. If it really bothers you, the you would need to get the hands reseated so that the watch shows midnight when the date change occurs. This is not an easy job, and best left to a professional. My advice would be to ignore it if the watch is otherwise performing OK.

I have a Tissot 1853 Model No:T52148131, I want to know what battery type to use, because I lost the old one?

Sorry I can't directly answer your question.

There are a limited number of batteries that fit watches and the quality of the battery is the most important to provide a good lifespan and be less likely to leak.

Anyone who regularly replaces watch batteries will instantly know which type fits so I suggest you visit your local friendly watch and clock repairer who will fit a quality battery and replace the O ring if needed and all for a nominal fee.
If local traders aren't used they will be lost.

I took my Tissot automatic PSC 200 in for service and the repair shop said it is a fake because it has plastic parts. He said a watch of tis quality doesn't use plastic parts in it.

Not entirely true. Most watches in a range will be assembled with a standard-sized time mechanism. So the manufacturer can "Bulk-out" the mechanism with a plastic housing to get it to sit into the bigger watch enclosures. I have several Tissot's, so I change the batteries myself. A few have plastic frames to bed-in the mechanism. You'd need to move to high end ($5k-10k+) watches to avoid plastic. A PSC200 retails for around $1000? There are a few basic checks you can do to re-assure yourself that its legit. (1) Did it come in the standard Tissot box, complete with history booklet, warranty booklet and stamped retailers warranty card? (2) Is there an engraved/embossed Tissot detail on the back cover, with model number, , sometimes a collection serial number, waterproof details etc. (3) Is the face scratch-proof crystal or does it sound thin and cheap when you tap it? (4) Are the second / minute markers and fractional-second markers clearly defined, or are they a cheap and blurry paint job? (5) Are the minute and second hands precision cut, with crisp sharp edges, or are the pressed tin with 'soft' rounded edges? (6) Does it have tiny but clearly legible "Swiss Made" text around the 6 O'Clock position? If you're concerned, bring it to another Tissot retailer and ask them to check it out. They would be more familiar with the Tissot range and manufacturing techniques.

The 60-second counter hand shakes slightly when watch is tilted.

I don't think it is normal for hand to move when tilted. what about the warranty? Tissot must cover your watch under the warranty. Mind you I had a similar experience with Samsonite luggage and despite International guarantee, they did not honor. I have lost faith in some brand names.

Why would a tissot t-touch need an overhaul to replace a dead battery

These babies are notorious for going down the tubes with a battery change. I bet if you get it back it won't work with a new battery. Twice I have replaced batteries and the watch didn't work when I finished. One of them was my own watch, I think $450 is about half the price of a new watch and that is sad. Cool watch just not very long life

I have a Tissot PR 50 Chrono,,, I have replaced the battery 3 times in the past two years. Then it got to where the second hand only would run. Now, nothing. If I hold the lower button in, the second hand...

When a battery is replaced, but doesn't last long, that indicates an internal electrical problem with your watch. The fact that the hands are operating incorrectly is also an indicator that something has shorted out inside the watch. I wish whomever sold you batteries 2 & 3 knew what they were doing!
As the Tissot is a fairly expensive, quality watch, I would suggest finding a locally-owned, high-end jeweler to recommend a watch repair shop, or alternatively, go online and Google "Tissot repair" to find an authorized repair shop. Good luck! Sorry I couldn't help you.

Stopped running

Unfortunately watch service is often calculated based on the value of the watch, as insurance, and quality/cost of materials and spares and tools are factors. With the correct lubricant there should be no reason why a quality watch should need that particular job done so regularly, but a 4/5-yearly service is not a bad idea at all, as most problems with this sort of watch can be avoided with regular maintenance. Hope this helps :)
