Is my Ebel watch traceable?

Sorry for your loss.
If your watch was registered, then it can be traced by reporting the loss to Ebel. You can do it on the internet: www.ebel.com
You will have to submit all the details of your watch.
In case, if your watch will turn up at any of authorized Ebel dealer workshops, it will be reported as stolen or found and you will be contacted.
But that can never happen, too.
If someone was lucky to find an Ebel watch, I doubt he/she will try to find the owner, unless he/she is just a perfect human being.
Ebel watches are of very good quality, quite prestigious and a good value as well, so, I think the finder will keep your watch himself.
Anyway- do not give up and report the lost watch. The only downside is- you have to tell your husband, as he is the only person who knows where and when watch was purchased as well as the rest of the details.
Wish you luck.
Do not forget to rate, please.

Stopped running

Unfortunately watch service is often calculated based on the value of the watch, as insurance, and quality/cost of materials and spares and tools are factors. With the correct lubricant there should be no reason why a quality watch should need that particular job done so regularly, but a 4/5-yearly service is not a bad idea at all, as most problems with this sort of watch can be avoided with regular maintenance. Hope this helps :)

kori, I think your watch needs cleaning. Take it to a good repairman/jeweller. These are hard to find watches and you must keep it.

I need to change a battery on an Ebel Beluga. I took the screws off of the back, but I don't see a notch to fit a case tool into. How can i get the back open? TIA!:

Change men's ebel watch battery

This is for a woman's watch but may apply to yours. You need to remove the screws around the bezel of the front of the watch (not accessed through the rear like most watches).Be sure to use the correct size screwdriver to avoid marring the screws. Then you will need to remove the half of the split stem attached to the crown. Remove the movement from the front, replace the cell, lube the gaskets, and reassemble. This has been asked before. Here is that answer:www.fixya.com/support/t1684765-ebel_wave_ladies_watch_battery
