Elite model #11027087603. How do I remove tubseal nut on bottom of washer that holds motor rotor on shaft?

that should have an inset, hex-headed screw/bolt. You will have to hold the rotor with one hand and use your other hand to loosen that screw. they use thread lock on that screw, so it will be difficult. but, that's only half the battle. You will have to remove the tub cover, agitator (7/16 agitator nut size), and the spin basket to access the tub seal. the seal has to go on from the inside of the tub assembly. Make sure you don't use anything against the outer lip of where the seal seats inside the tub, or you will have to replace the outer tub because it will still leak. Push the seal all the way down. then before you put everything back together, pour a small amount of water in the tub and see if you see any leaks. anything major will show then, but if there is a small leak, you will not know it till you try to wash with it. You shouldn't have to remove the stator screw or do anything from the bottom side of this unit. You should be able to replace that seal from the top side. good luck.

Model ge whdrr418g, i need to remove the agitator. the fabric softener cup lifts off fine, but underneath is a smooth plastic area... every manual says to access the screw/bolt at the bottom of the center...

Hello:
You need to grab the agitator from the bottom( fingers under agitator in the tub) then kind of alternate puling up with your right and left hands.. There is no screw holding your agitator in place..it may seem like it doesn't want to let go at first but it will eventually..

Good luck

I want to know how to remove the inner drum on my Samsung top loader to enable me to clean the outer drum.

you will need to remove the agitator by removing 1/4"hex screw at the bottom of agitator, then you need a "spanner wrench" to remove inner tub-basket hold-down nut then you can remove inner tub to clean outer tub

Washer will not agitate but fills/drains/spins

Could be related to pressure switch which measures the amount of water in tub. Does it fill and then just sit there?

Washer has a very musty smell. Trying to raise the top to clean inner tank but it will not budge. Does the top raise on the WJSR2070B model. Do not want to break it

Yes, but I would advise to try a washer cleaner before going through all the work to dissassemble your machine.
Use the longest, hottest cycle. You may have to run the cycle with a cleaner twice to remove all the built up soap scum inside the washer.

You could check out http://www.smellywasher.com/ for one possiblity. Others are " Washer Magic " or these: 73b1c2a.jpg fb3071a.jpg
If you still want to tackel the dissassembly: The washer front comes off by using a putty knife to push in the two retaining clips on the very top edge, where it meets the washer top. Now you will be able to access the screws which hold the top down. Of course to remove the inner tub, you still have to remove the lid switch, the agitator, agitator drive, the left hand threaded nut below that, the wire connection to the motor, the four tub retaining straps, the tub to pump hose, the four suspension rods, the tub cover and the water level hose. Then you would be able to remove the inner tub and pressure wash out the outside of the inner tub and the inside of the outer tub, if you bring the tub assemble outside. TRY THE CLEANER FIRST !!!!

Disassembly of washer agitator

With the palm of your hand, bang the very top section of the agitator, there are no screws, it is just a firm push-fit.
Do it with the agitator locked in the tub.

Hotpoint older model washer spins wont drain

If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

MAYTAG A-606

There are two methods used to hold the agitator in place. The first is a main bolt at the top of the agitator under the softener cup. The second is a small bolt located on the lower portion of the agitator. To access the transmission the tubs will have to be removed.
