Frigidaire Front Load Washer LTF530DS

Sounds like either the control board is faulty or the door latch sensor is not allowing the control board to communicate to the rest of the unit.

Is the message "LOL" or "LOC"? I suspect the child lock "LOC" has been activated. To toggle this off, press and hold Options and Select for 10+ seconds. This feature prevents someone from accidently starting or changing a cycle selection.

There is a small padlock icon in the middle of lines linking the two buttons that let you toggle the child lock on and off.

There are two Frigidaire washers with the model ATF6000ES (the S is followed by a 0 or a 1). The manuals for both are available here: http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals?model=ATF6000ES . Just had same problem. After removing boot/rubber gasket around opening, and replacing door lock assembly it still would not work giving the same ERR LOC message! Another site directed me to press the "Options" and "Select" buttons at the same time. BINGO! My husband was quite proud of me!

Try holding the 'options' & 'select' buttons together till the door lock button comes on. This is the child lock function. You can do it again for the lock to come off. Hold down for over 3 seconds

The control is most likely bad. If lights flash on front let me know which ones and how many as it will sometimes tell me what the failure is. Thanks, please leave feedback or contact me again for more info if you need it.

I too had the same problem, I closed the soap tray and a magnet popped out and got stuck to the door. Same problem with it acting like it was going to start and then beeped. This is where the magnet goes, just stick it back in, its held in with pressure (barely) :)

I took the whole control panel off to locate the magnetic reed switch, then just reverse engineered where the magnet is supposed to go on the soap drawer.

you may have a faulty door interlock?

Its looks like a lid switch issue. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Good luck!
