Just wondering Jaso12 - did this work as I am having the same problem. My epson only prints the left side of the document. The printer is fine when I do a print head alignment so its nothing to do with the print heads. I am using a mac (osx) - could this be the problem?

Same problem: it takes in the paper a bit off, and then it only prints the left side of the page. My solution is stuffing in as much paper as fits and then it works a bit better. But when the ink is out I will by another printer...

When doing A5 printing it does not show the position i set on screen. If i put the writing to the left of the screen it will print ,but this is unecceptable.

My CX3650 prints two thirds of the document quite routinely now. There is also a problem with paper alignment as the pages seem to have their left edge crushed,

This may sound nutty, but I have an epson stylus cx3650, with the same INFURIATING problem. And I think I *may* have just fixed it. and its daft, and simple, but we all know how picky printers can be!

Okay, the paperfeed at the top, on the left hand side is a grey slide, (right in the printer) to hold the paper in place. USE IT to keep the paper straight, it seems, if the paper goes in straight, the whole page is printed. I don't know how or why but it worked for me! ^^ (and this is after the printer was stored in a cupboard for a year, because of this problem!)

I've had exactly the same problem with an Epson D120. Today I found this thread, moved the grey slider which aligns the paper away, then back again, and it worked again. many thanks!

Hello, we are an ad agency that has just hooked up an epson R1800 series printer. When sending a document that is 11x17 the printer prints, but it as if the top of the page doesn't print the document. I have tried to change the printer settings, and was hoping that the document printer size was still set on 11x17. yet the problem still existed. Can you help? the voice ad agency

Epson workforce 610 printing improperly

have the printer being discussed in this thread.... the Epson WorkForce 610. I just encountered the same issue, many lines were missing from the page that I wanted to print. Ink levels were fine, but every time I try to print the same thing, the same lines were missing. I read through the solutions mentioned above and I decided to see what the printer had in its maintenance toolbox on the printer itself.

Here's a solution that worked for me!

1. Go to "Setup"
2. Under Setup, select "Maintenance"
3. Select "Head Cleaning"

The printer does the head cleaning automatically. Print another page, all of the lines should show up!

Simple, no need to buy another printer or clean the ribbon...

Prints only top half of Emails

what program are you printing from?

The problem is most likely caused by the computer or the program yourusing. Try printing your email from another program, if your readingemail from internet browser, then try another browser.

Do other documents print properly? Word - doc - etc?

Onepossible solution is to completely uninstall the printer from yourcomputer, delete it from printers and faxes and uninstall the softwarefrom add and remove programs -Start -> control panel -> uninstallprograms or add or remove programs.

Ones its fully removed, download and install the latest drivers.
they are available here on epson page

If the problem is with all documents and programs.
check that your not runing out of ink, Perform head cleaning on the printer.

Press the setup button on the printer, select maintenance from the options and press ok.

Perform a Head cleaning, and head alingment.

If the problem is only with your email program or with browser, try another browser or another email program.

Epson CX3650 printing gaps

Remove ink cartridges one by one and put it back in. If same thing happens, try to do head cleaning and nozzle checks consecutively from the computer.

Start -> Control Panel -> Printers & Faxes (Windows XP) / Printers (Windows Vista) -> Printer Icon (right click) -> Printing Preferences -> Maintenance

You should be able to see nozzle check, click it and follow the prompt. Line patterns that corresponds to the colors of the ink cartridges would be printed. If breaks on the patterns appear, continue with head cleaning. Try to do this about 3 times until all patterns are complete.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and now it prints fine, though the paper jammed twice for no apparent reason. Guess it's time for a new printer.
