An oven door repair may be needed if the door
hinge breaks or is bent out of shape. Oven doors have two door hinges, a
left and right. On some ovens the same hinge is used, on other ovens
the right hinge and left hinge have different part numbers. The door
hinge sometimes is sold with all necessary parts and springs, other
times the parts need to be ordered separately. An oven door repair for a
door hinge is a relatively easy repair for a do-it-yourselfer.
If the outer door glass is broken, it can be
replaced. This oven door repair requires that the oven door be removed
from the oven and layed down on a sturdy flat surface. The outer door
glass is made of tempered glass. Use eye and hand protection when
performing this oven door repair.
Open oven door. Flip metal holder down at hinge to lock hinge. Lift door with hinge attached up slightly and off oven. Reverse to re-install door, making sure notch at bottom of hinge is hooked in frame of oven properly.

To unlock the control panel and both oven doors:
Press and hold upper oven Cancel and Cook & Hold for 3 seconds. “Off” disappears from the display and “Lock” flashes while the controls and oven doors unlock.

the oven door does lock during self clean, otherwise it will not work. however, the door is supposed to unlock after the oven has cooled. if it is still locked, turn the oven to self clean and wait about a minute and then hit cancel and see if the door unlocks. if not, there may be a probelm with the door lock mechanism. Thanks a million, solved the problem like a charm. For those that can't find it, it is on the left side orf the OVEN, not the stove. Once you open the door, you'll find it on the frame's upper left side corner, can't miss it. Good luck
