My oven is in lock

Control panel and oven door lock
The oven door and controls can be locked to avoid unintended use of the oven. The oven doors and controls cannot be locked if the oven is in use, or the oven temperature is 400°F (205°C) or above. The current time of day will remain in the display when the controls and oven doors are locked.
To lock the control panel and both oven doors:
  1. Press and release Cancel.
  2. Press and hold upper oven Cancel and Cook & Hold for 3 seconds. “Off” appears in the display and “Lock” flashes while the controls and oven doors lock. Both oven doors lock. “Lock” remains lit in the display.
To unlock the control panel and both oven doors:
  1. Press and hold upper oven Cancel and Cook & Hold for 3 seconds. “Off” disappears from the display and “Lock” flashes while the controls and oven doors unlock.

Panel says F5 and oven does not work

F5 = Watchdog and hardware conflict

Loss of relay drive circuit If this fault code cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC).

Sometimes just unplugging the sensor quick connect and cleaning the corrosion in it fixs the problem. Replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

F5 indicates the control felt a loss of power. I generally check the oven sensor for resistance (1040-1090 Ohms @ 770F). If the sensor is within normal limits, the control is bad.
Replace clock (ERC).

(see the following link) although it can sometimes be caused by a failed oven temperature sensor. The sensor should be checked before replacing the control. It should read about 1100 ohms when at room temperature.

Jenn-air oven error code 4d22

Hi. Erorr 4d22 indicates that the control board isn't seeing the fan speed signal from the fan on that oven. It's the lower oven, right? Check the connection to the Fan and Control board, and if that's not it replace the fan. HTH.

Digital display is very dim

The most common cause is the failure of an under-sized capacitor on the display unit. Look at the board under the display, the component is labeled C3. It is a small cylinder with the label 68mf, 35V on the side and is attached by 2 small wires. It will probably be a little burnt or have small brown drips like syrup under it. You can buy the component at Circuit City or anything like that for about 75 cents. You need a pencil soldering iron (about $10) to remove the old part and put the new one on. If you can drip a candle, you can solder these 2 wires.

Model ww2460B double oven. need thermostat

Good luck with that!!! I had the same problem and scoured the internet for a solution. If you can find a used or rebuilt part you may be in luck. The thermostat on the left is a 6 pole one for the upper oven while the one on the right is a 4 pole for the lower oven 71001126. I doubt you can substitute the one for the other and give up the convection and self cleaning functions. Let us know if you find a solution or buy a new stove. Sears has a few 24 inch double ovens left, as the world is moving to 27 and 30 inch ovens.

I have double jenn-air built in ovens . when I turn top oven on it starts to beep and wont heat up.any suggestions. the bottom oven still works fine

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

This indicates an open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you want to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more than this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions. Kevin
