GE JTP45 Electric Double Oven Questions & Answers
Oven Clock
You are correct about replacing a part. there is no adjustment for the brightness. The control board will have to be replaced.
To look up parts for your oven you have to drop the 0 from the number. Try JTP45WW2WW. No one at GE has been able to explain to me why they put the zero in the model number when it is not used to look up parts. But if you leave it out on a warranty claim, they will reject it because the model number is incorrect. Go figure.
I looked it up on sears.com and repairclinic.com.
The part number for the original board is WB27K5301, but that will change to WB27T10292 that has replaced the original.
Post back if you have any questions.
Thanks/Mike

Need wiring diagram
There used to be some grouchy old guy who had a site, I haven't used it for awhile and forgot the name of it, I think this could be it. http://www.appliancerepair.net/index.html, I will keep looking though.

Cannot turn off the alarm
F1 code
This code usually means that there is a problem with the keypanel. Many times, it means the keypanel needs to be replaced
Good luck and please rate 4 thumbs for the free answer

Control board harvesting
No, the parts aren't the same. The W2BB model has this code for that same part WB27T10283, while the A2BB model has this code for that part WB27T10292. The parts Look exactly the same in the diagrams, however in my past I have discovered the hard way that connectors and things in the circuitry are often different even if they fit. They're pretty pricey too 250 bucks or so...good luck!

I have a GE model JKP13 and it keeps going off,
HI, the oven has experienced a very high temp due to a failed sensor. Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control.
Replace the oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
Next. Look for a high
resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven
temperature sensor circuit. Look for welded
relay contacts as well on the control and sensor. replace, both the control and temp sensor if weld spots are visible.
