Good Morning Friend,

I understand your Electrolux dryer, model# EIED55H, is displaying all 8's and all the lights are blinking. I suggest resetting your appliance, be either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best regards-

The check filter light keeps blinking and it displays CL in the display area. I always clean the filter after every load and I swept any remaining lint from the vent but it won't reset.

the filter light is just a reminder. it is not connected to a sensor or anything. it is not the issue. the 'CL' code is the issue. CL means that the Child Lock is on. press and hold the child lock button for 3-5 seconds to turn off the child lock.

Samsung front loading dryer the display shows rotating circle rather than time remaining

Rotating blinking lights in the display is probably an indication that the Wrinkle Prevent option has been selected. Wrinkle Prevent will continue to tumble the dryer without heat after the cycle has ended to help prevent wrinkles from setting in. When this option is selected by pressing the Wrinkle Prevent button on the control panel, the display will count down the estimated cycle time; when the cycle ends, the display will show lights blinking in a circular (or actually rectangular) motion.

To deactivate, simply press the Wrinkle Prevent button again so the light is not illuminated.

Fridgedare front load dryer wont start, no noise, the light is on so i know it is getting power. finished one load went to start another and turned the switch and nothing

Hello ebega7 - I understand the lights are blinking; however will the display illuminate or allow you to program a setting? If it will not allow you to do so, try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the dryer. Select a normal cycle and if it is ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a defective cord or wiring, control board or door switch.

How to start the machine?

You'll want to check your owner's manual under "Troubleshooting" for direction. With the front loaders, they are computers in todays cars. Every manufacturer has different codes for different problems. If your book doesn't help, you'll need to contact Frigidaire.

Blinking AD

AD is auto dry you may need to clean the sensor or you may have a fauilty one ...Auto Dry Loads dried using the Towels, Heavy Duty, Normal, Perm Press, and Delicates cycles will dry automatically at the selected temperature to the desired dryness level. The dryer uses sensing bars to sense the moisture level of the load as it tumbles through heated air. Auto Dry cycles save time and energy and protect fabrics. The estimated drying time will be displayed for about 5 minutes, then the outside of the display will light up in a circular track to indicate the drying time is automatically being determined by the sensors. When the load has reached the selected dryness level, it will continue to tumble, unheated, during a Cool Down period. This helps reduce wrinkling and makes items easier to handle during unloading. The estimated Cool Down time will be displayed. Drying time varies depending on size and dampness of load and fabric type. If the load is too small or almost dry, the sensing bars may not detect enough moisture to continue the cycle and the cycle may end after a few minutes. Select a Timed Dry setting to dry such loads. Room temperature and humidity, type of installation and electrical voltage or gas pressure can also affect drying time. For cycle selection turn the knob on the front of the dryer control panel. The light will illuminate next to the cycle selected. The following is a brief description for what cycles should be chosen for certain items and materials to be dried.
