Hi, Assuming you have tested with another adaptor then invariably it is a broken solder joint on the power input connector.
Re soldering will work but eventually the same thing occurs.
Set the connector in epoxy resin (Araldite) or better still mount a new connector in the case and wire with flying leads.

When wiring around circuit board cracks, one must use adequate sized wires and keep the leads short. Also you MAY have a microscopic crack in yet another conductor that flexes when you play the keyboard and freezes it. Use a high intensity LED light from the topside to "candle" the board and look for cracks. Look for cracking of the board material that may have tiny cracks in the circuit traces.
I just fixed my CDP 100 which had a similar problem - dropped and two keys not working up one end. 1. Lay keyboard upside down on soft surface. Under keyboard is plastic cover held on by 17 screws. Remove all these and lift cover away. The metal key ends are all revealed. 2. Locate the disloged keys. Carefully press them back into position - they will "click" into place. Make sure the corresponding key on the keyboard isn't stuck in an "up" position - you may have to remove the metal key part and replace it again while making sure the key is correctly seated. 3. Replace cover and screws.
Most of these have VELOCITY sensing and that involves two contacts per note. If the velocity sense on those notes is somehow not working, broken wire or trace on the board or short that MIGHT cause your problem.
In Casio Chord mode, the bottom keys up to the second F plays Bass Chords. The Keyboard is just putting the keys you play back into bass when you get up that high. If you read along the plastic edge above where they keys come out of the keyboard, it shows you where the Chord keys end and the Keyboard begins. If you want use of all the Octaves, slide the power switch to the first setting (normal).
