Check the float in the tank that indicates the water level to the sensor. They often fail to float, solution is to either replace the tank or jam something plastic under the float to lift it to the top of its slot.

I noticed you did not mention the switch ON before you pushed button 26. Try that should work.

When putting the tank on the unit make sure you tank makes contact with the back of the machine all the way down so that the reed switch reads the tank.

Same problem here. I have found that rocking the watertank back and forth - just enough to lift the front edge of the tank about 1/16", then the back edge 1/16" - will usually fix the problem within 10 to 30 'rockings' when the tank is full. Yes, this often results in spillage under the tank's cover and onto the counter. And, yes, this happens neraly every time i make espresso. What a royal pain in the ****.

I don't know if the problem is in the tank or in the machine. I'm still investigating, etc.

Either purchase packets of De-scale or purchase citric acid. Take 1 tbs and mix in water until completely dissolved. Use cold water. Pour into filling chamber. Run through machine. Rinse with purified water until all is clear. NO after taste. Don't use tap water in these machines. Use a purified water. Coffee still tastes good,and no calcium buildup!

Fill watertank with descaler solution, place a large bowl underneath the steam wand, locate the button that looks like a sideways 8 or oo or similar, press it for five seconds and the machine will begin auto descaling. Follow further instructions on scree.

Make sure that there is a magnetic float in the water tank and that is floating when the tank is fill with water.

If it is missing or not floating then that is your problem.
