What would make a crosley 42" lcd tv not turn on

Defective control board or power supply. Televisions have no user serviceable parts inside.

There is some fault with its digital processor board [main board] Contact any experienced service technician. This is not a user repairable one. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.

when my 42'' did that, I had to change the main power board.

The set has an internal fault and needs to be serviced

you lcd tv not setup problem. that" s main board gone in. you need a tachnician for it.

some tv's always have standby light on, even iff you turn off by tv button. solution 1: with light on, press a number on remote. solution 2: with light on press stand-by button on remote. solution 3: with light on push the 'on' button on the tv set. solution 4: unplug tv set, wait a few seconds then plug back in, if no light then turn on tv using button on the set, and then channel number.

flashing power light:

projection TV`s have many protective circuits in them, they protect your CRT`s from damage, over voltage called x-ray, and many others, you need to have it checked before the damage is more costly, your TV is not happy and needs to be checked

turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work.You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.

Hi i have a pilips 42" plasma tv (42PF5320/79) i can hear clicking the green light is on and the tv will go into stand by if i press the power button and the red light also comes on .I have turned it on and off and it works now nothing just the light on the front as if its working looking at the back through the slots two green lights come on then the tv clicks and they turn off,thanks
