The cable is either bad or the cable has not been securely full connected to the input and the output ports can have loose connections and can cause the signal and have horizontal or vertical lines to show up on the TVs screen. The cable will need replacement.
hi it sounds like a capacitor in the verticle circuit located on the main board. it is near the verticle ic. the verticle ic also could be bad the cost is around 85 dollars for a tv shop to fix. sometime a cold joint could be found around vert ic. a soldering iron is required with solder.tap the side of tv if picture comes back it is just cold solder joint.
If you are using original cartridges then there should not be a problem. The horizontal lines come from the cartridge. Can you pinpoint if it is a color or black line that is missing? My guess is that during the alignment procedure, you are asked to choose a number or letter that corresponds to picture of a the lines that show the best alignment. If you did this correctly, may I ask how many pictures you printed before seeing that line. Is it on the first print or 10th printing? Cuz if it is on the 5th or more full color picture, then the problem is that you you really have the wrong printer. The F380 capacity for printing full color pictures is miniscule. 1 ml per color. So usually after the 3rd color picture, the ink starts to run out. Let me know if this helps.
now only visible in a thin horizontal line.
first of all you reduce brightness to monimum.
it just to protect your tv from crt demage.
your problem is in horizontal output section as you have mentioned that week or so ago the right and left bottom edges of the picture began to move in like a sideways triangle filled with black so this sympton is due to hor. section problem.
your flyback transformer or horizontal output might be defective.
but remember check for power supply is ok from
surge protector
hope this will help.
Sounds like you have a power supply filtering problem. Perhaps a filter capacitor is going bad. If your set has a switching power supply
oscillations from it are getting into the video.
You need to have a tech to check it out for you. You should get an estimate first before having it repaired.
