32pt5441/37 TV shuts off after
Hi,
It's the problem of overheating in the power supply board of the TV.on the power supply board of the tv there are few capacitors and IC.any of this ic is got short or may be weak.so due to this when you start the TV the current passes from electric outlet to the power supply board of TV.but when the current passes from that weak/faulty part at that time current gets stopped or slow and the board overheats and TV shuts off. this is a common problem faced by many other users too.the possible option to solve this issue is to check the power supply board by a meter and continuity tester and replace the faulty component on the board which is short due to which power supply board is getting overheated.its bit technical job but yes its not at all a costly repair to do or get it done by the technician. for required parts it can be easily available from local electronic hardware shop.
Good luck in solving the problem...

I tried connected my XBox
In many cases there is nothing wrong with the TV. You may need to reread the handbook for operating setup on picture centering in the Xbox instruction book. In some rare occasions you may need to upgrade the Xbox with a USB upgrade connection. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!

I have a Philips TV
This was a common problem for these tv,s. The tv is getting to hot it sounds like and that is why it comes on and then off right away. The tv is made to shut off if it sense something wrong like, over heating, something goes out and the tv knows so it shuts it down as well. That could be alot of problems to find out the wright problem you might need schematics for that tv. The tv is putting out a code as well right? The code that you mentioned might tell it for you. Enter the tv and model number in your seach provider and it will come up with a little searching on the internet your blinking problem. Thanks

Color loss (but onscreen displays in color) - DIY repair?
your description was great, thank you
there is only 1 hope for you on this one, intermittent color is a touf one, tap on the board with wooden or plastic handel see if you can make the color come and go that way, if so you have a intermittent break in the board, my guess is by one of the big ic chips on the board. if not able to make the problem act up with the taping then you have to look at the croma section and color oscillator section , this is not easy needs skiz and a scope and a little know how. depending on what they need for time a shop would charge 100-210 to fix this kind of problem. sorry this is not what you wanted to hear but is one of the tufer problem to fix on a tv.

Colored Lines Destorted Picture
I had the same problem , sent it into the shop and they said it was a capacitor . It is a $3.00 part and $75.00 for labor . But it did fix the problem . The labor charge was inflated I'm sure so if you someone who can do it and just get the part ,would be the way to go.
