SOURCE: HL-2030 printer won`t print labels with Word 2007

If it's the same as my Hl-5250DN, you have to use MP Tray mode. The MP (multi-purpose) tray is cleverly hidden on the front of my printer.

SOURCE: i have a brother hl-5240 printer and I am trying

The label sheet needs to go in the front slot, if there isn't a slot on the front, then you grab the notches on each side of the front door and just open the feed tray.

Testimonial: "thank you for the information. I has no idea there was a special slot inside the cartridge door. I will try it. "

Zebra QLN 420 - Not printing label correct size. it is printing too small label

1) If you feel your printer is printing only small-sized labels, then you can try changing the font size.

2) If you are printing from a computer, then go to the paper settings that appear in the print preview window.

3) You will see a paper type or a paper settings option available in the window. Since it is a small-sized printer, you will only get prints in small size.

How do I feed an AVERY label 5453 into the printer?

Just place the sheet of labels in the paper tray.
You may need to place the labels face down in the paper tray so the prints on the correct side of the labels. If it didn't print on the correct side of the labels then place the labels face up.

My new hp 2035n printer give an error when i try to print. the error says: load paper to tray 1

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Inkjet printer
  • Labels
  1. 1

Prepare your printer. Make sure the power is on and the drivers are installed correctly on your computer.

  2. 2

Wait for printer to stop. Make sure your printer is idle or ready or waiting for paper to be loaded. Don't load labels when your printer is already printing or running an operation.

  3. 3

Prepare your labels. Make sure they are all facing the same way and are right side up. The label side should be face up. Many labels have an up and a down as well, look for a "this side up" or "load this way" indicator. Or take a look at the print preview before you print and make sure your labels will be fed correctly.

  4. 4

Find the correct paper tray. Some printers have manual feeds and automatic feeds. Refer to your manual to find out which one you should use for labels. If you are going to use the manual feed, follow the manual's instructions. However, most printers will use the automatic feed, so read on.

  5. 5

Align the paper guide. This is a moveable piece on the paper tray. There should be markers for the width of your paper. Standard pages are 8.5 inches. Move the marker so your labels will fit.

  6. 6

Load your labels. Place your labels in the tray so it touches the immoveable side of the paper guide. Slide the paper guide over to touch the other side if it is not already close. Do not bend the labels by pushing in too far.

  7. 7

Find the paper thickness lever. Try looking under the door that lets you change the cartridges. Or search around on the back or side. Check your manual, too.

  8. 8

Set your paper thickness level. Usually you'll use the standard size. However, your printer may need to use a thicker setting. Check your manual.

  9. 9

Change your media type. In your printer settings, find the media type option. You can access settings by clicking properties or settings on the print dialog right before you print. Select "labels."

Having problems with printer margins. It will print the first label correctly then the next 4 or 5 it will mess up the margins and print out on two labels

You Have to set label size in the printers driver. A hundred diferent label sizes can be used but the driver must know the size to layout the bitmap correctly

Goto printers and faxes then right click on your zebra printer driver. Left click properties and then left click the advanced tab, then left click printing defaults button. In the zebra designer driver size is on this page. The Zebra Universal driver you click a few levels deeper by clicking paper output then paper size. If your size is not listed in the drop down arrow then click customize, then highlight user defigned on the upper left off the screen and enter your correct label size.

Labelmaker program will not print image in right place

This can drive you nuts! :)

It sounds like you need to adjust the label orientation with the label maker software first. THEN, use regular paper to test your adjustments. Take the print out from a regular piece of paper and overlay it on the label paper. Hold it up to a light and see how the labels align. Re-adjust if you need to. You won't waste your label paper that way.

Also check the settings on the printer as well, making sure you have selected the correct paper or tray (if equipped).

Paper jam in hp deskjet 5900 series. how do i correct?

Follow these steps to remove a paper jam:
1. Press the Resume button.
If the paper jam does not clear, then go to the next step.
2. Turn off the printer.
3. Remove the rear access door. Press the handle to the right, and then pull out the door.

4. Remove any paper that is inside the printer by pulling it out from the back of the printer.
If you are printing labels, verify that a label did not become detached from the label sheet while passing through the printer.
5. Replace the rear access door securely.
6. If the paper jam cannot be removed from the back of the printer, raise the printer cover, remove the paper jam from the front of the printer, and then lower the cover. Caution Remove the paper jam carefully as it is possible to damage the
printer when removing paper from the front.
7. Turn on the printer, and then press the Resume button.
8. Reprint the document. Note If paper jams occur frequently, try using a heavier paper. See the reference guide for paper weight specifications.

CD label (Neato) printing problem

Try to change your paper type to plain paper - it could be because it is a bit glossy that it thinks it's photo paper that is not inserted correctly.

Your problem seems to be due to worn out of rollers. Try a less glossy paper and you can find the difference.
