Could be shaft seal at the agitator top or there is a seal at the bottom that may leak from the agitation vibration. There are several online appliance parts sites that will help with diagnosis and repair parts.
It leaks from the agitator drive shaft and tube seal. this one is below your agitator wings. The leak is not from any hoses. They sell this part, but the labor is not cheap unless DIY. Good luck.
Remove the agitator cone. There will likely be a removable plastic piece with an O-ring. Oil could be leaking out of the O-ring into the washer, and water could be leaking into the bearings. If there is damage to the O-ring replace it, or if there is a bunch of schmag that is compromising the seal, clean it out, and re-install everything. This solved the problem in my washer; hopefully it works for you.
theres nothing under your agitator, first take cover off your agitator there should be a small bolt
holding it down, take that bolt out then grab agitator from bottom and pull up it should come off easy.
GEARCSE NORMALLY HAVE A SMALL LEAK .BUT IF LEAKING MAJOR REPL/JUST SCREW ON BACK THE AGITATOR MAKING ANY WEIRD NOISE, USUALLY WHEN BROKEN COUPLER ,,SHOULD BE SIGNS OF GEARCASE BROKEN REPL
pop the top off your agitator. There is 4 small plastic pieces that make the top part of the agitator work. Remove the 7/16 bolt in the center of the agitator and pull the top of the agitator out. Replace what they call a dog kit. Go to any parts store and they will know exactly what your talking about. They are olny about 6 bucks. its an easy fix so no need for a service technician.
I don't know if the agitator is turning or not but the whole agitator is lose from the bottom part of the agitator. The washer also leaks. We have checked all of the hoses etc and there is no problem with that. We wonder if the leak isn't coming from the agitator being lose.
