Choke box 12v wire and ground wire came out of wire harness

there are two power wires to most radios. usually red and yellow. the red wire provides 12v when the key is turned on and yellow provides a constant 12v. both must have power to turn the radio on. there will be two fuses for the radio also so make sure both fuses are good. the only other thing that will keep the radio from coming on is the ground wire "usually black" that has to be connected to the ground in the factory harness or you can just connect it to any bare metal behind the dash
