Problem with legacy amp
I would check the RCA preamp wires connecting the stereo to the amp. If these are loose or broken, it could cause you to lose your sound.
Does the amp show signs of life, such as clicking on, an LED turns on, or anything like that?
Has anything else changed between the time it worked and didn't work?

Optimum sound performance needed
1) legacy products are highly overrated and i have never seen one put out the power it claims
2) if you are running the amp bridged, you need to match the impedance of the speakers to the amps highest output impedance, otherwise your system will not sound all that great...
what size fuse or fuses does your amp use? what size wire did you install with (power and ground)? did you connect direct to battery or did you connect to a fuse block or similar? did you use a stiffening capacitor? does it sound like it is clipping when you turn it up or is it just distorted? what kind of box are you using for the speakers (ported, vented, sealed, bandpass)?
if you give me the model number of your speakers and your amplifier i can probably help you more, but with the information you have provided, this is all i can offer..
hope it helps,
trin

Legacy LSW127 rms rating?
4000 watt amp that was 2-channel with 2000 watts peak and 1000 watts RMS per channel, when wired as 4-ohm, which is what the sub's ratings are based on. therefore the amp and sub configuration were a perfect match, however approximately 1/2 an hour into driving with them i noticed a plastic/rubber burning smell and immediately shut off power to them. upon inspection both subs were blown and completely unusable. this leads to the conclusion that they were poorly rated and of poor quality materials, and i hereby advise that unless your going to run way under the limits, they are no good!
What ar the specs for a legacy LA420 600 w amp
This Legacy LA 420 amplifier features 400 watts of power, two channels (bridgeable), a two-way crossover, Mosfet power, 2 ohms stable, and THD less than 0.04%. The amplifier measures 10" x 9.5" x 2.75".
My 2009 Subaru Legacy subwoofers not working
When woofers stop woofing it is because the voice coil is heavily damaged and stuck in the magnet air gaps or there is no amplifier power getting to the unit. Speaker connects need to be checked along with amp power to another known good speaker. If that unit also does not work then there is an amplifier issue that needs addressing.
What size fuses do i use for legacy la1095?
if it really uses 1200 watts, that would call for a 140 amp fuse, which is outrageous. for that power, if turly approachable, you would need a v8 engine, and midified alternator(s) arrays, and a capacitor.
