I'm trying to change my factory car stereo and all

Hello desbmj1,

It's best to use a vehicle specific wiring harness. That way, you can just match up the wires from your new aftermarket receiver color-for-color.

If you don't want to use a wiring harness, then you need to obtain the wiring color code for your vehicle.

www.modifiedlife.com has the color codes for most vehicles. Click on "Car Stereo Wiring Diagrams" at the top left, scroll down and clink on the make of your vehicle, then find the model and year on the list at the left.

Hope this helps.

Is there any way of changing the balance on the

There should be a setting on the head deck, depending on what model it is. Try fiddling with all the bottons on it. If the balance had never originally been changed maybe you're speaker wires not connected up properly. If it has then you can definately changed it back, look for a setting called "bal" and make sure it's 0.

Radio is not working at

Hello lagreen98,

Yes, one of the most likely causes of complete failure of the radio would be a blown fuse. There's a fusebox located under the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel. The radio fuse is number F13, is 7.5A, and color-coded "brown". Here's an image of what a burned fuse and a good fuse would look like. The image is a "yellow" 20A fuse.

Help with code radio for my nissan pp2787h

The radio code is a security feature that's meant to deter theft, and it's unique to each vehicle. If you've lost your code, you'll need to contact a Nissan dealership or service center and provide proof of ownership. They should be able to help you retrieve the code. Please do not attempt to use codes from the internet as incorrect attempts may lock your radio.

No sound from wireless headphones in a toyota sienna

First thing to do is check to make sure that the batteries are properly charged.

Second, make sure that you have a clear line-of-site to the IR transmitter. Infrared (IR) works the same way that your TVs remote control works - if the signal is blocked, then you will not hear any sound.

Third, make sure that you are in the rear seat of the vehicle when listening to the sound. The IR transmitter only transmits to the rear seat, so you will not hear any sound if you are sitting in the front seats. This is a common problem that i see.

Lastly, make sure that the heapdhones you purchased are compatible with your 2006 2007 2008 2009 or 2010 Toyota Sienna. Remember that some older models require RF headphones, not IR headphones. I checked http://www.audiovideo2go.com for compatibility before I purchased my headphones. They have a useful listing of all the headphones and models of vehicles they are compatible with.

Xplore Amp 5553. How many watts RMS and impedance loads.

Unfortunately, no one knows or is telling. Companies rarely state power in RMS because Peak Power is a much more impressive. 1000 watt amp, 200 watts RMS x 2 channels at 8 ohms. Look for a sticker on the unit. https://www.google.com/search?q=Xplore+Amp+5553 ..
