Lastly Washer vibration can be caused by a broken counter balance spring. Ur washer may be equipped with one or more counter balance springs which help to absorb the natural movement of the spinning tub. If a counter balance spring fails the tub might lean in one direction more than another and it will shake and cause vibration.
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

you can lift the top and get a closer l;ook, by opening lid and looking approx, 4 inches back along side rail, youll see a rubber plug, remove the plugs toreveal the screws hoding down the main top. after emoving screw lift the top back and you see the 4 suspension bars tha hold the machine, either one "popped" or the left front corner should have a sdpring attached form it to the tub( clips on to the red little bracket on side of outer tub). either of thesse swill fixyour problem

SOURCE: out of balance even with tub empty. can i get to
I assume it is a top load model. In which case the back does not come off. Some recent models had a problem with the inner tub (balancing ring on the top of it) going out of balance, and even coming loose from the basket drive. You will need the Whirlpool spanner wrench to remove the tub, or at least tighten the spanner nut if it has come loose. This means removing the case completely. I have only on one occasion seen the tension spring (from transmission to rear of case) break. More than likely it is the inner tub.
