open the oven door all the way and look down at the hinges. there is a little locking clip that you swing into position that locks the hinge from closing. it might be stiff and need some cleaning depending on how old and dirty your oven is. Also you might have to push down on the oven door to make the hinge open fully to get the locking tabs into place. making shore that the locking clips stay in place and hold open the hinge as you lift the oven door slowly towards its closing position and you will see the whole hinge lift up from inside the oven cabinet and the door will just lift out. be careful not to catch your fingers. make sure the looking tabs stay in place during removal as the hinge is very hard to get back into this position again. re fitting is the reversal making sure that you have pushed the base of the door all the way back into the cabinet and push down on the as to open it to release the tabs.
Is the door locked? if it is it won't close all the way if it was in the locked position before it was closed. like if it was programmed for "self clean" without the door being closed, the lock would be engaged still.
The door swing hinges might have come out too far try and lift up and push in at the bottom other than maybe a lock switch for when you put it on self cleaning at the top ,Don't know
spring is broken on the side that is 'slacked' without return tension. may be necessary to get underneath the stove chassis. move away from wall, carefully disconnect the gas fitting after turning off the gas spigot. Pull away far enough from wall to 'tilt' the whole chassis rearward to access the underside. Technicians use a 'jack' to raise stove....
Most if not all Thermador owners manuals have this outlined in them, however, here you go.
Removing the Oven Door
Fully open the oven door.
Raise the U-clip over the hook on each of the hinges to the "locked" position (see illustration below). This will prevent the hinge from snapping closed when the door is removed.
Grasp the door by the sides toward the back. Raise the front of the door several inches (there will be some spring resistance to overcome because of the hinge being locked). When the front of the door is high enough, you will be able to lift the hinges to clear the indents.
Pull the hinges out of the slots in the oven front frame.
To Replace the Oven Door
Grasp the sides of the door at the center and insert the ends of the hinges into the slots in the oven front frame as far as they will go (see illustration below).
With the door open all the way, lower the two locking clips.
Raise the oven door and make sure that it fits evenly with the front sides.
DOOR HINGE WARNING:
**CAUTION** With the door off, never release the levers and try to close the hinges. Without the weight of the door, the powerful springs will snap the hinges closed with great force.

Hi There I found this for to read so you can fix your door.I hope this will help you.Let me know how it goes. The oven door won't closeIf
your oven door has gotten bent or warped (maybe you rested something
heavy on it…), you need to remove the door, disassemble it, and
straighten it. You can lift most oven doors off of their hinges by
opening the door several inches to its first "stop," and lifting the
entire door straight up. If
the hinges have become worn, damaged, or bent, you probably need to
replace them. We recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, to
prevent uneven wear of the undamaged hinge. Thank you for writing to fix ya. Best Regards Richard
1. Open the front door you did
2. Open the clips at the hinge housing (2) on
the right and left hand sides of the front
door by lifting them up. you did
Hold the door onboth sides and then close the door and lift
the door up to remove it. assume this is what you did. Refitting is the reversal of removal.
