Click Device Manager from the returned list.
Click Disk Drives from the list of hardware
Right-click the USB external hard drive with the issue, and click Uninstall.
After the hard drive is uninstalled, unplug the USB cable.
Wait for 1 minute and then reconnect the USB cable. The driver should automatically load
Check for the USB drive in Windows Explorer

SOURCE: Lexar 8GB wont work. when i insert it, it shows up

Some computers will not support a large 8GB stick. The best some will do is 2GB, If you are running a computer pre-2001, you may not be able to use the 8GB stick (I have the same problem with my desktop PC). It just is not supported!

Format 4gb lexar jumptwist

The thumb drive you have came already formatted and ready to use. It will read as a DISK because it works the same as a CD or DVD disc. A formatted flash drive is set up at the factory and ready to be used by the new owner. Just copy what you want to move from the computer to the flash drive. When you want to remove data from the flash drive, simply DELETE doing the same as you would on your computer PC or Laptop.

I bought a lexar jump drive s70 and how do i copy my pictures from my desk type computer to the flash drive.do i need a usb cord?

Just plug the flash drive into a USB port on a computer, the computer will see the flash drive as a drive, windows will usually open autoplay, and ask if you want to open the folders.

If not just go to my computer, and you should see the drive listed under your C: drive.

Make sure you move the arrow( thumb slide) on the flash drive so the port sticks out so you can plug it in.

My computer can read the Lexar 1GB SD. But Kodak wont.

I suggest formatting the card using the utility in the camera. This will delete any data that is currently on the card.

Lexar memory stick

Hello,
This device should be plugged into any computer that has USB ports to plug into. Usually, you plug it in and you will see something pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen about installing usb drive. When it is done installing (usually takes about 1 minute), you can open My Computer and see it in there as a removable drive. Open it and save your files directly in there by copy and paste or drag and drop.

Thanks,
Lolita
