Camera works but can no longer download pictures to computer

Camera gets to "wait a moment" and then says battery empty but it's fully charged. Tried on several computers with same results. How do I get pictures from the camera? Is it a bad cable or?

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

SOURCE: how do i charge my camera??

If your camera did not come with a plug-in wall type transformer, it may not have rechargeable batteries installed when new.
For using USB ports for such non-data uses, you may require a software patch (driver) to accomplish this. Your manual should tell you these things and if you don't have one, download a copy from the Olympus website. Look for a link to 'support,' then manuals.

SOURCE: battery empty message when connecting olympus sw 1030 to laptop

Your recharged battery may be weak. May be time to replace.
If the battery power runs out while the camera is connected to a computer or printer, the image data may be lost or damaged. It is recommended that you
use the AC adapter. Do not connect or disconnect the AC adapter while the camera is connected to a computer or printer.Do not remove or load the batteries or connect or disconnect the AC adapter
while the camera is turned on. Doing so could affect the camera’s internal settings or functions.

How to replace clock battery in eos rebel ll

your "clock battery" is just a very little rechargeable battery, that will charge as soon as you put in a fully charged battery in your camera. You should wait for at last 12 hours, before you remove the battery. and the little battery can keep the clock running for several days.
Everything that is in the camera, only can be replaced by a skilled electronics engineer. The best thing you can do is contact a certified Canon repair centre and ask what it will cost to build in a new clock battery. But before you think it is a clock battery, make sure your battery is still in working order. Ask around if anyone you know has the same camera and borrow a charged battery for a few moments, to make sure it is not you camera battery.

After every picture i have to turn the camera off to take another

I don't understand. As soon as you turn the camera to off, you can't shoot again. You first have to switch it on.
If you have a problem with a digital camera, the best you can do is switch it off, remove the battery and wait a few moments. Then reinsert the battery and start over. This acts like cold reboot of a computer.
But it could be your battery is on the verge of being empty. So first try charging the battery before reinserting it.
If the camera keeps playing the same game, please contact the closest Nikon approved service centre.

IF I CHARGE MY CAMERA ON MY PC DO I NEED TO PUT IT ON AND LEAVE IT ON AND TILL CHARGE ... I HAVE A VIVITAR VIVICAM 8225..

Hi,
Is recommended that you do not use a pc to charge your camera. Instead use the supplied power supply.
Also, please note that when charging your camera you should wait until it is empty (or almost empty) and then charge it fully. This will ensure a longer battery life.
