The upper and lower hoses are not blocked.I checked them both. When I vacuum it does not have very much suction. It does not pick up dirt, nothing in canister. this is a Dirt Devil 12 amp vision, upright. I disconnected the hose to use attachments and there is not much suction. It will not even pick up lint. There is very little suction. Is there something I may be overlooking? This vacuum worked fine untill a couple of weeks ago. When the motor is running, it sounds normal.
If there no blockages in the hoses, then the next thing to check would be any filters in the vacuum. When these get clogged, you will experience this problem.
