Hi there! The M087305 has an on/off pedal that controls the power. We do not recommend you repair this part. You can take the vacuum in to your authorized service center for repair. The hose is probably blocked. If possible reverse it (put the intake of the hose on the canister connection) that should suck out the obstruction. If that fails try to carefully push a broom handle into the hose, preferably from the end that connects to the canister. Put the hose back on normally and see what happens.

Hi! The F51 filter can be rinsed to clean. Hold the pleated filter under running water to rinse. Do not use any soap or detergent. Allow filter 24 hours to air dry before replacing in the vacuum. The foam filter can be washed the same way. The filter should be replaced about once a year. I have included a link where you may go to purchase a replacement filter if needed. Thanks! F51 Filter

Clogged unit

Check all the wheels to make sure they spin freely.

If you have a shop vac you can try putting it on one end of the hose and suck it out. Otherwise just try shaking the hose until it starts coming down. It may take a while but it will eventually come out. I had this happen and had to keep shaking it and hitting the end on the floor and it eventually came out..good luck!

You need to go a bit deeper in the unit to get what is clogged. it is most likely clogged on the inside of the unit. Take off the back and remove the inner workings following the path of the suction. Not hard to do just sucks.

It could be that you sucked up a piece of paper or plastic which got stuck in the hose and the vacuum just shut off due to over burn protection. Check the hose if it is stuck. You can drop a penny and see if it glides and comes from the other endMost good vacuums these days come with a tiny reset switch. Just press it with a pointed needle or pen tip. It your vacuum shut off due to protection feature, it should come back to life.

Take all the screws off the bottom to access the beater bar than slide out (belt will also be right there ) just slide a new one on......
