Wont take a picture with the flash on!! help

My canon lxus 70 camera wont take a picture with the flash on xx the flash dosnt seem to work!! x

    WILL NOT LET ME EXPOSE WITH THE FLASH ON, I HAVE TO SHUT THE FLASH OFF TO EXPOSE WHEN IT IS DARK. NO PROBLEMS WHEN DAYLIGHT OR OUTSIDE.

Okay, this is simple. Your camera can take several pictures at one time in a burst. However when you release the shutter button your processor takes a second to actually SAVE the pictures to the card in the camera. One thing than has helped me in my wedding photography business is to buy the fastest speed cards I can find. It significantly reduced my "busy" time.

I dont follow this one Does the flash work at all? It sonds like t bad connection if it only works when it is off and wont work if it is on Canon Canon Technical Support may know about this one.
