Hi Kirby, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Error code ES and P1 are commonly referred to a sensor failure. Because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual unit replacement. Is your appliance still in warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your air conditioner and the procedures to any potential remedy in that regard.

Best of luck!

Oscar air dehumidifier code loPt means what?

My dehumidifier is displaying an error code. What does it mean? Your dehumidifier has sensors to monitor for various conditions that may prevent the unit from operating in a normal manner. Please refer to your user manual for error codes and operating instructions for your specific model. Common dehumidifier error codes and messages can be found in the list below:
ES or E1 - Temperature sensor error
E2 - Defrost sensor error
AS or E3 - Humidity sensor error
P1 - Unit is in defrost mode. Defrost process should take a minimal amount of time before the unit returns to proper functioning order. If the unit display P1 code for more that 1 hour, unplug unit and allow to manually defrost for 4-6 hours.
For the above error codes, Power the unit off, and then unplug the unit for 15 minutes. Plug in and power on. If the issue persists, please contact customer service.
EC - Ambient temperature error. The environment where the unit is operating is either too cold or too warm. Make sure the ambient temperature is suitable for the unit (41°F - 95°F).
LO - Temperature too low error - Current room temperature is below 32°F. Make sure the ambient temperature is suitable for the unit (41°F - 95°F).
HI - Temperature too high error - Current room temperature is above 122°F. Make sure the ambient temperature is suitable for the unit (41°F - 95°F).
P2 - Bucket is full. Empty the water bucket and reinstall it. How do I drain my dehumidifier?

What does P1 mean

t appears to mean "defrosting." In other words, the condenser coils have gotten too cold and are icing up..

The filter is probably full, or the thermostat is faulty. Open it up and clean the filter first.

How to reset password in sony lcd projector ES 3

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 22.0px Times}

You must contact sony because this particular model is a business projector and only sony can give you the reset code for that particular one. Here is the quote from the sony manual. "If you call the customer service center because you have forgotten the password, you will need to be able to verify the projector's serial number and your identity. (This process may differ in other countries/regions.) Once your identity has been confirmed, we will provide you with the password."

P1 error

Your question needs to be answered in 3 parts:

1) As per the manual for my Danby Dehumidifier (Model DDR657EE), the unit may not turn on immediately when powered On (it may take a several minutes). So, generally, it would be normal in your case.

2) Danby's Consumer Help Line (1-800-263-2629) is always busy. So, I called their General number: 419-425-8627. The receptionist transferred my call to their Service dept. My call was answered in 2 minutes.

The Service Rep. described the following code for my dehumidifier model (DDR657EE):
P1 = Defrosting: the unit will go into Defrost mode periodically to ensure that the parts are working at the right operating temperature. It should be in Defrost (P1) mode for only a brief period of time. If the unit is in Defrost (P1) mode continuously for a couple of hours (or more), then you should call Danby Service for further assistance.

He had no documentation of a P2 code for my model.

He also described other General Codes (applicable to most Dehumidifier/Humidifier models):
E1 = Not enough water
E2 = Not draining
E3 = Water temperature too cool
E4 = Overflow Switch activated
E6 / E7 = Problem with Temperature Sensor

So, generally, if you see P1 periodically (for brief periods), then it would be normal.

3) Since your unit keeps running (continuously) and there is no water in the bucket, then you should call Danby ServiceI for additional assistance - it seems defective for this reason.

I hope that helps.
