Im presuming that your have replaced the drum??
if so : Remove the new drum. On the front of that drum, there is a green cover. Take it off and what has happened is the flag on the gear had dropped in shipping. You will see a flag like piece of plastic on one of the gears, reset it to up and somewhat to the right. Then put the green cover back on That flag has to be in the up position when new. It passes down and actuates a drum reset switch on the machine. When that is back in the up position. re insert the drum and on the first revolution it will turn on the switch.
You can replace the chip on the drum unit. Or the drum unir itself.
Google a business called " the parts drop". They will have both the chip and or the drum cartridge. It is not resettable with a diagnostic code.
When copier has printed about 18,000 pages the J2 drum cartridge light will come on. The unit will print about another 1,000 pages before the unit stops working until the drum cartridge is replaced.
1. turn off XD125f 2. Turn on 3. within 4 seconds press, clear, auto, clear, auto. LED Should go blank, if not try again 4. use copy quantity keys to enter 24, then push start 5. Again use copy quantity keys to enter 7, then push start 6. turn off when you restart the cartridge count will be set to zero
I have done this twice and never replaced the drum cartridge.
