........ could be not good big time! At worst, you have fryed the PC board, HOWEVER, I would be surprised if ther was not a fuse protecting the poer supply. In this case, relatively easy fix - see a repairer that you trust. If he tells you its fryed, I woul be going for a second opinion. When its fixed, get an appropriate step down transformer!
Good luck.

My Janome 2030 DC suddenly stopped sewing correctly and started making fast beeping sounds and the needle goes up and down. I have tried unplugging and plugging, rethreading... nothing works.

The above may well be the manual you have. The peep peep peep is listed at the end of the manual. Sadly, it simply mentions invalid operation. That said, below is a service manual that does include this mode (although at first glance it may appear otherwise)

My janome pink ribbon suddenly starts sewing by itself and the foot control is plugged in

this can happen if machine has embroidery functions , as u set it up and press the pedal then it executes the embroidery and stops , also its possible that pedal is defective , you can obtain new ones that just plug in

I have a janome 1 step sewing machine. last time I used it, I had stopped using it for only a few moments whilst I pinned the material so I could carry on stitching. It was still plugged in swhen suddenly...

I would call your dealer and get a new power plug put in. What i see here is a possible fire hazard. I do not know how old your machine is but I hope it is still under warrenty. By the way, The new Janome 7700 Horizon is at a bargain price right now. I am a sales rep for a dealer and we guarentee the best prices.

Plugged 4w 120v trimmer into 220v outlet with a 50-2000w 220-110v coverter - it blew fuse and doesn't work. soldering melted off wire inside

scrap the trimmer...
probablly damaged beyond cost of new one

a step down transformer would have been a better choice than a voltage converter ( not trying to be a wise guy here)..

Janome Heart Truth

You need to replace the fuse inside the transformer/power supply. It requires an 800ma 250 Vac Bussman fuse that is 1.25 inches long. You more than likely blew that fuse plugging it into the 230V supply. With a new fuse it should work with a voltage stepdown to 120V.
