Gas Dryer blowing cool air and will not heat up.

It is an older model Frigidaire Gallery commercial heavy duty  gas dryer.  It is probably older that 6 years.  The vent and lint areas have been cleaned out.

Look inside door and get the model number for me. Could be igniter, gas solenoids or temp control switch inside. Let me know, Thanks Sea Breeze

If the igniter glows but it doesn't ignite, most of the time, it's the valve coils, most of the other times, it's the radiant sensor.

If the igniter doesn't glow, check your thermal fuse. If your thermal fuse is good, replace your igniter.

Good luck!

Frigidaire gallery heavy duty dryer

Good Afternoon Friend, thank you for your question!

I understand you are seeking a replacement dryer belt for your Frigidaire laundry center, GLET1031FS. The replacement dryer belt part number that you would need to order is 137292700.Most parts can be purchased directly from the manufacturer or through a parts distributor in your area (part numbers may vary based on distributor). Hope this helps! - Z

Simple. Your solenoids are overheating because of age. Most American dryers use the same 2 coils:

This video of mine shows how to replace them:

The flame sensor, ignitor, and coils all are wired together in a complicated circuit so that the coils will not operate untill the ignitor is out of the circuit and is screaming hot. If the ignitor is open or bad the coils will not operate because the ignitor becomes like a thermocouple when screaming hot. So if the ignitor is working and the flame sensor is working properly AND the dryer will work some and then quit, I would suggest to you that the coils are aged and when they get aged they tend to fade and die when used once or twice. It is an aggravating thing to diagnose. Replace the solenoid coils and rock on dude!

Hello! My Frigidaire gas dryer - Gallery Heavy Duty slowly lost it's heat. In the past two weeks loads were gradually getting colder and wet until heating stop complatelly.

This is most likely a bad ignitor(can be verified by inspecting burner and ignitor with the machine running. But I would also check the vent pipes from the dryer all the way to the outside to make sure there isn't any blockages or restrictions. I would need a model number to provide more specific details.

I have a frigidaire gallery heavy duty dryer, gas burning. It has heated/dried my laundry less and less, and now does not seen to heat up at all. What part do I need to replace?

You may have aproblem withthe venting. Make sure the the fan can blow freely through and out the vent. If this gets parially blocked it cuts down the air flow and will make the dryer run too hot and keep the burner off. The other thing taht it could be is the temperature sensor that turns the gas burner on and off. Sometimes they will go bad and not let the burner stay on long enough to heat properly.
