E-Machines T2642 PC Desktop from mother board 3 cables came unplugged 1 is green pwr led 1 is pwr s/w-black ,one is red hdd led i just need to know what order to plug them back in

Sorry you are having trouble.
Led's have a + and a - side.
With a magnifying glass you should be able to see where each one goes on the board. Start with pwr s/w. when you have it on the right pins then you can push the button and turn it on. I have done with with a screwdriver and quickly touching two pins at a time until it comes on.
Next the power LED. This one should be on all the time.
Last id hdd LED. This one will only be on when HDD is active and reading or writing.
The connector you are looking for is normally in the right hand corner opposite the power supply and has all the wires from the case going to it.

I need assistance with the front panel cables (Power, HDD, Reset etc)

Hi,
On your motherboard power is setup like so:

10 9 8 7 6 (no pin on 6)
1 2 3 4 5

1- HD_LED_P
2- HD_LED_N
3- RST_SW_N
4- RST_SW_P
5- RSVD
6- No pin
7- PWR_SW_N
8- PWR_SW_P
9- FP PWR/SLP
10- FP PWR/SLP

you have 5 connectors from the chassis' front (with cable colors):
-P LED (white)
+P LED (green)
HDD LED (yellow/white)
RESET (white/blue)
POWER (orange/white)

You just insert cables according to these nos. Do this job carefully that's why i am giving you full details about cable and its colors.

Regards

Front panel to motherboard, ASRock P4i65G, connections

the power switch is on the 3 and 4 pins....the 7 and 8 pin are the reset pins. Trying it on wrong pins just won't startup the board but won't short circuit anything.

Need Diagram for the pwr, reset, pwr led,hdd led speaker connections on the motherboard. Model p5s 800-vm.

Hi there.
On the motherboard look for the front panel, it should be marked PWR and coloured green, also the plug that connects to it should be marked PWR_SW.
Have a look at these pictures for an idea >>>>>>

TRYING TO HOOK UP MU POWER BUTTON NEED TO KNOW

Hi there
The front panel connectors are mainly,
  • harddisk activity connector
  • power switch connector
  • reset switch connector
  • power LED connector
  • speakers connector
  • USB connector
Harddisk activity connector
This normally comes red in colour and is labeled as HDD-LED
Power switch connector
This comes green in colour and is labeled as POWER-SW
Reset switch connector
This usually comes grey in colour and is labeled as RST-SW
Power LED connector
This is usually green in colour and is labled as PWR-LED
Speakers connector
This speaker will give different beep sounds during boot to tell the user if there is any errors. It occupies 4 pins, however only 2 is important for the function. Be sure to connect the red coloured cable to the positive polarity and the black to the negative.

HI! I was cleaning the inside of my e-machine W3502 and I putted off the 3 cords labeled Power LED green in color,HDD.LED red in color, and the POWER SW. Now i don't know how to put them back on in order....

look on the motherboard where all the cables are plugged in, It should list on the board in small letters what plugs in there. whats written on top goes on the top pins & bottom list should be the bottom pins.
