Make sure the center loading is not obstructing the water jet to the top shelf. Top shelf is only for glasses and saucers , use Jet-Dry .Pre rinse and clean bottom pan strainer from dirt debris.

Try a liquid detergent or another brand.

Just fixed my Frigidaire. The outboard o-ring on the main pump became distorted and stretched. Check your local hardware store as Frigidaire wants $17.50 + shipping. Good luck

Sounds like an intermittent fault on the heating coil (or possible intermittent pilot failure). Or thermostat out of calibration (but I doubt that last one is likely)

This fault sounds a bit dodgy and I'd recommend getting a qualified appliance serviceperson to troubleshoot this.

i have a kenmore elite dishwasher model 665.16059400, i need a lower spray arm nut, nobody can find this part, i've been to sears and also to their on line parts department 3 times and have come up empty, the last time i was assured that the nut would be included with a new spray arm if i ordered one, it was not,i know the spray arm was made by whirlpool, is there anyone out there who knows the solution to this simple problem? does whirlpool have a cross referance model number i can use to find this part

try timed dry cycle instead of the auto-sensing setting. In your drum if you have auto dry such as less dry normal dry and more dry, There is a sensor sometimes in the drum and sometimes in the exhaust right after the blower. If in the drum then your clothes brush by this and if moisture is sensed then it keeps on drying. With your rack the clothes can't touch the sensor so it tells your dial to turn and that items are dry which in fact are not. Try this and see how it does.

You can try one of the cleaners sold for this purpose like glisten, dishwasher magic or jetdry dishwasher cleaner. It may not be getting enough water due to the fill valve clogging up. You can check this by small amounts of water slowly with a cup in the wash cycle and quickly opening the door to see if the upper sprayarm is turning. If more water helps you need to replace the valve.
