I have a front load

You will need to check the thermal fuses they are located inside the cabinet.you will have to remove the lid ny taking the screws out of the back then remove the four screws that hold the contol panel in place.
Then take out the screws that hold the front panel inplace, open the door and remove the two screws in the front and the panel will come off.

If you have a multi meter you will need to check the continuity on all the thermal fuses there is one on the blower housing it is black in color and two on the heating element can.Be sure to unplug the unit prior to checking the fuses.

Samsung electric dryer

How old id the system?
If warrenty is over, Open or remove metal covers.
Before you start, unplug your unit.
After you removed panels or opened your unit, on one side should be the element compartment. At the bottom of compartment, is two wires. remove and then take a Ohm meter and check the element. That ok you won't hurt yourself, because you unplugged it.
If you have a reading or the needle moves... your element is fine.
That would mean something else is wrong.. Follow the plug into the unit..
Are the wires burnt, Has one falling off... It needs replacing
Sometime the circuit breaker trips... only half.. so go and reset your breaker and put the dryer back together

Samsung Electric Dryer

This may be a problem with your moisture sensor or the control that read the sensor. If it is under warranty have Samsung fix it for free. Make sure the cycle settings are correct before tinkering. First make sure the electronics are not too dusty. You could blow them off or vacuum them. Dirt particles can conduct electricity and make it read wrong. Next check the electrical connection for the moisture sensor. See if its location is in the manual. If it doesn't work after some tinkering asked the service for the dryer about possibly replacing the sensor but first try hard to get it to work.

DRYER RACK DOES NOT DRY CLOTHES

try timed dry cycle instead of the auto-sensing setting. In your drum if you have auto dry such as less dry normal dry and more dry, There is a sensor sometimes in the drum and sometimes in the exhaust right after the blower. If in the drum then your clothes brush by this and if moisture is sensed then it keeps on drying. With your rack the clothes can't touch the sensor so it tells your dial to turn and that items are dry which in fact are not. Try this and see how it does.

Can you change a gas dryer to an electric on?

Not easily or efficiently. Too many components to swap out. The right person with enough time, knowledge and finances might pull it off but you would be better to spend your money on a new dryer.
