SOURCE: Belkin F5D5231-4 - create a wireless access point

I have had good luck with the NetGear Rangemax WPN824. It has multiple antennas that are supposed to provide better range, and your kids will like the blue blinking lights.
http://www.netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/RangeMaxWirelessRoutersandGateways.aspx

Nintendo has a list of incompatible wireless routers:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/onlineWirelessRouterIncompatible.jsp

and the Rangemax is not incompatible.

Wii can use 802.11B or G.

Since the Rangemax is both a wireless access point and a router (with 4 ethernet ports), you can just replace your existing router rather than plugging this router into your other one.

SOURCE: how can i connect my

Your PSP does not support the WPS feature on the Belkin router. The solution is to turn WPS off. WPS can be disabled in the configuration program for your router.

You do not need WPS it is simply a protocol to make conection to some modern devices simpler.

Does anyone know where i can get the setup software for my belkin f5d7130 access point?

You can download the manual and quick instalation guide for the F5D7130 Wireless Network Access Point
from Belkin. No software is needed nor is supplied with the access point.

If you bought the access point bundled with the network card F5D7010, then the disk that came with it would have the drivers for the card. You can get them from Belkin also. Click here

We've just moved house and have aquired to belking routers a belkin wireless pre n and a belkin ADSL G Plus MIMO I want to use the latter as a bridge how can I?

You need to access the setup page of your Belking router and go to the wireless setup, look fro Use as Access Point, now just a reminder this will defeat the NAT IP sharing feature of the router. Configure the IP address of the router to the same subnet as the network your tying to bridge here's the more detailed procedure:

1. Enable the AP mode by selecting "Enable" in the Use Access Point only page. When you select this option you can now change the IP Settings.

2. Set your IP settings to match your network. Click "Apply Changes"

3. Connect a cable from the LAN port of the router to your existing network.

Connection

The setup page to configure Belkin routers is at http://192.168.2.1

If you have changed it, reset the modem to factory defaults by using a paper clip in the small reset hole.

hello!
-- what is the exact model number of your access point and router?
-- what is the ip address of your access point and router?
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- Is your computer directly connected to the router?
-- Do you have a wireless computer? what is the model number of the wireless adapter

if you want to configure your access point with your router you may try the ff:
Step 1: Connect the Ethernet port of the access point to one of the Ethernet ports of the router
Step 2: Make sure the power adapter is plugged to an available power outlet
Step 3: Check if the corresponding LEDs on the access point are lit
Step 4: After connecting the devices together, configure the access point’s wireless settings
Step 5: Open the access point’s web-based setup page
Step 6: When the access point’s web-based setup page opens, change the SSID, Channel, and Wireless Security.

Networking

You actually have a couple of issues here. Fix these in this order. 1.) Login to router and turn off wireless (if you're not wanting to use wireless) 2.) Connect the ADSL modem CAT5 port to the WAN port of the Belkin router. 3.) Login to router and turn on NAT and make sure DHCP is enabled. 4.) On your Windows machine turn on DHCP under the network settings. This should allow your connection to be setup automatically and stop wireless access on the Belkin router. Let me know if you need more help. JC
