Here is where I found the remote code (1256) for the TBX-2000AF and it has many more codes for Polaroid models. Good luck (copy and paste this link) http://polaroid.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/polaroid.cfg/php/enduser/popup_adp.php?p_sid=fPLB5Gzi&p_lva=&p_li=&p_faqid=2854&p_created=1116267791&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD0xOTk0JnBfcHJvZHM9JnBfY2F0cz0mcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3BhZ2U9MQ**

Here is some info to program a DirectTV remote for the Polaroid TBX-2000AF combo TV. (My Direct TV remote control has the number RC32 at the top left next to the device selector switch (not sure how many different DirectTV remote types are out there.)
Push the device button over to TV. Press the Mute and Select buttons at the same time and hold them until you see 2 flashes near the top of the remote. Press 11256 and then the SELECT button (It required the extra 1 in the number before it would program, I found this by luck). Now try using the volume button on the Direct TV remote to verify a good program. Push the device select button back to "D". If it did not work the first time try it again, these things can be a bit finicky.

Zenith PV4663RK Rear Projection TV - Manufactured - Mar. 1995

Hi,

Are you connected to cable TV using a digital receiver? If so, your TV can only get the signal for one channel - the one you're tuned into on your receiver. A workaround is to connect the coax cable TV cable directly to your TV, as well as connecting your receiver to your TV. This will allow you to be able to change the channel on your receiver and be able to change the channel on your TV to one of the analog channels you can tune into by connecting the coax cable directly to the TV.

Sanyo tv ds25030 how to program chanals 48-96

Your TV must be set in cable mode for channels higher than 69, and your cable provider must allow those channels to be received without a cable box. Menu, Channels, switch air to cable, run auto scan. If it receiving those channels unencrypted, it will find those channels.

We have an older model tv and can't figure out how to get the channels to above 69

Channels 2 to 69 are over the air - Antenna - channels.

Channels 2 to 125 (some duplication) are Cable channels.

There should be a way to switch your TV to Cable channels.
If it's really old there may be an Antenna/Cable toggle switch on the back of the TV.

Most newer TV's have a way to get a Menu that you can use to switch between Antenna and Cable. Check on your remote control.

If neither of those you'll probably need to buy a new TV.

Cant get digital channal on my DCP 501

From page 24 of the Installation Section

The clear protective film on the DCP501 display must be removed and transferred to the inside back cover of your
DCP501 Home Theater System User Guide. The Unit Address and Serial Number found on the protective film is
required for activation of your DCP501 cable TV receiver by your cable TV service provider.

On Page 28 -

Do not disconnect the cable connection between the RF In and To RF In ports. Removal of this
cable could disrupt operation of the DCP501.

IMPORTANT! The digital cable feature of your Motorola DCP501 can be activated only in
certain cable systems throughout North America. Contact your local cable TV provider to
determine whether the digital cable feature of your Motorola DCP501 can be activated. In cable
systems where the digital cable feature cannot be activated, you may connect an external cable
receiver provided by your local cable provider. For best results, connect an external cable
receiver through the audio and video inputs on the back of your DCP501.

Using DCP501 Cab le TV Functions
The DCP501 has an advanced CATV set-top terminal that allows you to view cable channels.
The DCP501 must be authorized for cable TV operation by your cable TV operator before it will
tune channels.
To use your DCP501 to view cable channels:
1 Press SOURCE to display C ATV on your TV. C A TV and the last channel tuned are displayed
on the DCP501 display.
2 Press MENU to display the TV program guide on your TV.
3 Press GUIDE to display the television program guide on your TV.
4 Change channels by pressing CHANNEL/PRESET or making your selection with the
program guide on your TV.
If you receive an electronic message from the cable operator, the message icon turns on.
You must use the TV program guide to retrieve an electronic message.
Additional DCP501 cable TV functions include CATV Record and CATV Channel Scan.

If you don't have the manual go to:
http://www.retrevo.com/support/Motorola-DCP501-Receivers-manual/id/393bh936/t/2/ and register to get it. It's free.

I cant get the tv to go to higher channels

Most tv's have an Antenna mode and a cable mode. If you have cable tv service, the cable mode must be selected in order to receive channels higher than 23. Then you must auto program the channels thru the menu screen on the tv to receive the channels above 23. If you have a house antenna or rabbit ears, its hit or miss on receiving all VHF and UHV channels.
