This TV has no TV/AV selection button at its front panel controls. You should have a remote control to select its inputs. Hi,Without remote its not possible to disable child lock. If it possible to arrange the remote then you can do the following to override the lock.1.Press VOL+ on the remote and CHANNEL + on thefront of the TV at the same time. Enter New Pwd.will appear on the screen. (You must be in the Enterpassword screen when attempting this).2.Press the number buttons to enter a four-digit code.The code will appear on the screen as you enter it.3.Press OK to save the code.4.Press MENU repeatedly to exit the menu or the menuwill automatically disappear within a few seconds ifno buttons are pressed on the remote control

Not a sure thing but I remember it being hold both vol up and channel up for several seconds to release the unit presuming it is actually locked.

There is shorted component/s inside the circuit board. Contact any experienced service technician. This is not a user repairable work.

Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. 4- Hold down GO BACK button on the remote and MENU button on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Hold down EJECT button on the front of the TV set and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET. that cannot be done----what is set doing or not doing?

There is not much to do that simply use the remote and go into Main Menu/Preference and set FPA lock to OFF. 

If the TV is on it should say "FPA ON" eacg time you press a button. When in FPA mode, the only button on the TV that should work is the power button, and only to close the TV.  Press and hold the channel up button on the TV and press the volume up button at the same time. If this does not work repeat this but pressing the volume down button. With the original remote you would Press VOL- on the TV's front panel and then CLEAR on the remote for approximately 5 seconds.

The dry solder might be in horizontal section

Check the out put transistor pins / Driver cct. / FBT pins.

Unfortunately Its not that simple, every remote has its own codes for different brands. There isn't 1 set code for all brands of remotes so would have to know what type of remote it is and maybe we can find the info on the net.

High Voltage leak coming from anode button ,it nees to be resealed. TV contains around 20,000 volts up to 22,000 volts . Tube must be discharged in oder to correct problem .
